Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
“انسان کے مرنے کے بعد بھی سات اعمال کا اجر جاری رہتا ہے، جبکہ وہ اپنی قبر میں ہوتا ہے۔”
وہ اعمال یہ ہیں:
1۔ کسی کو علم سکھانا۔
2۔ نہر کھود کر پانی جاری کروانا۔
3۔ پانی کا کنواں بنوانا۔
4۔ درخت لگوانا۔
5۔ مسجد یا مدرسہ بنوانا یا اس کے نظام کو چلانے میں مدد کرنا۔
6۔ اپنے پیچھے Qur'an چھوڑ جانا (مثلاً قرآن خرید کر وقف کرنا یا کسی کو پڑھا دینا)۔
7۔ نیک اولاد چھوڑ جانا جو اس کے مرنے کے بعد اس کے لیے دعائے مغفرت کرے۔

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“After a person dies, the reward of seven deeds continues for him while he remains in his grave.”
These deeds are:
Teaching beneficial knowledge to someone.
Digging a canal or arranging flowing water for people.
Building a water well.
Planting a tree.
Building a mosque or madrasa, or helping in running and maintaining it.
Leaving behind a copy of the Holy Qur'an (such as donating a Qur’an or teaching it to someone).
Leaving behind righteous children who pray for his forgiveness after his death.
