Date: 19th September, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the untimely demise of Sri Zubeen Garg, the legendary son of Assam whose voice and music touched millions of lives. His loss is an irreparable one, and we join the entire state in mourning this tragic moment.

In view of this, and as a mark of respect to the departed soul, the Half-Yearly Examinations scheduled for tomorrow are hereby postponed. Fresh dates will be notified soon.

We request all students, teachers, and staff members to keep him in their prayers and observe this time with dignity and respect.

May the immortal voice of Zubeen Da live forever in our hearts.
