🌿 Gandhi Jayanti (2nd October) – the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who taught the world the values of truth, non-violence, and simplicity. His life reminds us that peace and moral courage are the strongest tools for building a better future.

With deepest sorrow, we bid farewell to our beloved Zubeen Garg, whose untimely demise has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. Today, as he is laid to rest, we remember not only his soulful voice but also his dedication, humility, and love for our culture. His life teaches us to follow our passion with sincerity, to respect our roots, and to spread positivity through our talents. Though he is no longer with us, his songs, values, and memories will continue to inspire generations. May his noble soul rest in eternal peace. 🙏"

Eminence Senior Secondary School (Formerly Al-Omarain Academy) celebrated Teachers’ Day 2025 with gratitude and respect. 🌹📚

We remember Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who reminded us that teachers are nation builders, and we honor our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — the Greatest Teacher of Humanity. 💐

This year, on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day (2025), Eminence Senior Secondary School proudly celebrated the event with great patriotism and joy. The celebration began outside the school premises with the hoisting of our National Flag, followed by an inspiring speech from our respected Principal, Mr. Abdul Halim Mazrbhuiya. Several other activities were also conducted to mark the day.

However, due to sudden rainfall, the remaining programs were shifted indoors to the school building.

Unfortunately, this year we could not organise our traditional Prabhat Pheri rally because of unfavorable weather conditions. Insha’Allah, it will be rescheduled and conducted with even greater enthusiasm on the upcoming Republic Day.

প্রিয় অভিভাবকবৃন্দ,

আজকে ১৯শে মে,২০২৫ ইংরেজী রোজ সোমবার, আমাদের স্কুল চত্বরে আড়ম্বরপূর্ণ অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে "ভাষা শহীদ দিবস" পালন করা হয়।

বেলা ২:০০ ঘটিকায় আমরা ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরকে নিয়ে শহীদদের স্মরণে এক সভার আয়োজন করি।

সভার পরিচালনায় ছিলেন স্কুলের ভারপ্রাপ্ত অধ্যক্ষ সায়ীদ হুসাইন লস্কর।

সভায় আজকের দিনটির বিভিন্ন বিভিন্ন দিক ও তাৎপর্য খুবই সুন্দর ও সুষ্ঠভাবে তুলে ধরেন স্কুলের ভারপ্রাপ্ত অধ্যক্ষ সহ শিক্ষিকা ফাল্গূনি সিনহা ও অন্যান্যরা।

ছাত্রছাত্রীদের মধ্যে আজকের দিনটির তাৎপর্য স্বরচিত কবিতায় তুলে ধরেন স্কুলের পঞ্চম শ্রেণীর ছাত্রী যথাক্রমে সুমাইয়া সিদ্দিকী বড়ভূইয়া, মাহিরা মেহবুবা তাপাদার।

এছাড়া বিভিন্ন ছাত্রছাত্রীরা বক্তব্যের মাধ্যমে আজকের দিনটির কথা তুলে ধরে।

পরিশেষে আবারও ১৯৬০ ইংরেজিতে বাংলা ভাষা তথা মাতৃভাষা রক্ষার্থে শহীদ হওয়া ১১ জন মহামানবদের প্রতি ২ মিনিটের নিরবতা পালন ও পর্যাপ্ত শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে আজকের দিনটির ইতিবৃত্তি ঘটে।
