We, Me, You, Us: Participatory, Collaborative, Collective Making' a conversion session on Public art, placemaking, community art practice between artist Aletheia Hyun-Jin Shin and the Panjeri Artists'Union was held at the Art and Craft Academy, Kumra Kashipur, Habra, on 13th May. Aletheia is a Korean community artist with interests in transnational, intercultural, and social art practice. Aletheia's presentation revolved around the methodologies of engaging with communities through organizing and storytelling, focusing on building local leadership through creative platforms that promote solidarity and community voices. Our conversation brought to the fore critical questions, region and culture specific issues that defines borderlines of community and material practices, modalities of participation, free-market and methodological paradox of engagement and exploration. The Panjeri Artists' Union and Art and Craft Academy would like to thank Aletheia for sharing her artistic journey with us and participating in a meaningful discussion.
আমরা, আমি, আপনি, আমরা: অংশগ্রহণমূলক, সহযোগিতামূলক, সম্মিলিত সৃষ্টি' - পাবলিক আর্ট, স্থান তৈরি, এবং কমিউনিটি আর্ট প্র্যাকটিসের উপর একটি আলোচনাসভা, যেখানে শিল্পী আলেথিয়া হিউন-জিন শিন এবং পাঞ্জেরী আর্টিস্ট ইউনিয়ন অংশ নিয়েছিলেন। এই আলোচনা ১৩ই মে, আর্ট অ্যান্ড ক্রাফট একাডেমি, কুমরা কাশিপুর, হাবরা-তে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। আলেথিয়া একজন কোরিয়ান কমিউনিটি শিল্পী যিনি আন্তর্জাতিক, আন্তঃসাংস্কৃতিক এবং সামাজিক শিল্প প্র্যাকটিসে আগ্রহী। আলেথিয়ার উপস্থাপনা কমিউনিটির সাথে জড়িত হওয়ার পদ্ধতিগুলির উপর কেন্দ্রিত ছিল, যেখানে সংগঠন এবং গল্প বলার মাধ্যমে স্থানীয় নেতৃত্ব গড়ে তোলার উপর জোর দেওয়া হয়েছিল যা সংহতি এবং কমিউনিটির কণ্ঠস্বরকে উত্সাহিত করে। আমাদের আলোচনা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রশ্নগুলি সামনে নিয়ে আসে, অঞ্চল এবং সংস্কৃতির নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়গুলি যা কমিউনিটি এবং উপাদান প্র্যাকটিসের সীমারেখা নির্ধারণ করে, অংশগ্রহণের ধরন, মুক্ত বাজার এবং সম্পৃক্ততার পদ্ধতিগত দ্বন্দ্ব এবং অনুসন্ধান। পাঞ্জেরী আর্টিস্ট ইউনিয়ন ও আর্ট অ্যান্ড ক্রাফট একাডেমি আলেথিয়াকে ধন্যবাদ জানাতে চায় তার শিল্পীযাত্রা আমাদের সাথে ভাগ করে নেওয়ার জন্য এবং একটি অর্থপূর্ণ আলোচনায় অংশ নেওয়ার জন্য।
