The alumni represent the cultural ethos and heritage of the institution and I think Alumni Meet is a day we eagerly wait for. Every year, we get multiple options a month ahead, we communicate to other alumni and then the day is scheduled as per everyone's convenience (with best possible manner). But, this time it hasn't happened in that way. I can understand, everyone in the school is busy, so as we!! On short notice, it is really difficult to manage for everyone, hope you understand.
You might be knowing that we had written a mail to principal sir two weeks ago mentioning our plans in the coming alumni meet along with some other plans for the development of the school. Unfortunately, we haven't received any reply. Moreover, on reminding over WhatsApp, our contacts were blocked. We have already organized several sessions to motivate and guide our juniors in past years and we are trying hard to do something positive for the school. We want to make sure that our beloved juniors do not face the same hurdles we have already faced in our careers. But, we think we are not getting enough support from the school. So, I think there is no point to conduct a 'Formal Alumni Meet' just to keep a record for the RO and keep the discussion hanging on the wall forever. So, my point is pretty simple! Do you really think that the alumni should play their role in uplifting the school, or, this is just organized for formalities?
