SPECIAL AADHAAR CAMP FOR STUDENTS
A 14-day Special Aadhaar Camp for Students was organized by the Block Education Office, Hee Martam BAC, in collaboration with the Permanent Aadhaar Enrolment Centre, Hee Martam BAC.
As Aadhaar is one of the mandatory documents for generating a student's Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID, the camp was primarily aimed at students from both Government and Private schools who did not possess an Aadhaar card.
The initiative focused on facilitating fresh Aadhaar enrolment for students without Aadhaar and carrying out necessary demographic and biometric updates for students and their parents wherever required. The objective was to ensure that every student has a valid Aadhaar, thereby enabling the timely generation of APAAR IDs.
The camp commenced on 15th July 2026 and was conducted over a period of 14 days, covering all 16 Government Schools and 7 Private Schools under Hee Martam BAC in a phased manner according to a pre-planned schedule. The enrolment team from the Permanent Aadhaar Enrolment Centre visited each school, while school authorities ensured the presence of eligible students along with their parents or guardians on the scheduled dates.
A total of 136 students, along with several parents, availed themselves of the enrolment and update services during the camp. The programme received wholehearted cooperation from all School Heads, teachers, parents, and the enrolment team. Proper arrangements for seating, document verification, biometric enrolment, and record maintenance were made at every school, ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the camp.
The Block Education Office, Hee Martam BAC, extends its sincere gratitude to Shri Kailash Gurung, BDO, Hee Martam BAC, for approving the camp and providing the necessary administrative support for its successful implementation. Appreciation is also extended to the team from the Permanent Aadhaar Enrolment Centre, Hee Martam BAC, all School Heads, teachers, parents, and students for their active participation and cooperation, which contributed to the overall success of this important initiative.
