5th Cluster Level Workshop under CMSNP

The two-day 5th Cluster Level Workshop for teachers teaching Mathematics in Class III under Chief Minister Special Numeracy Programme (CMSNP) organized by Block Education Office, Hee Martam BAC was successfully concluded today.

All the teachers of 15 Government Schools under Hee Martam BAC attended the workshop.

The workshop was conducted by SRGs comprising Mr. Lakpa Hissay Sherpa, Mrs. Yojana Basnet, Mrs. Lakpa Doma Bhutia and Mrs. Anjana Rai. The sessions focused on activity-based learning and effective implementation of CMSNP at the school level.

Shri Chabilal Chettri and Shri Kinzang Dorjee Bhutia, Block Education Officers also graced the occasion and interacted with the teachers.

Inter-School Block Level Athletics - School Games 2026-27.

Hee Martam, 11th September 2026:

The Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Hee Martam BAC in collaboration with the Block Education Office, Hee Martam BAC successfully organized the Inter-School Block Level Athletics Meet under School Games 2026-27 at Mahatma Srijunga Government Senior Secondary School, Bermiok on 11th September 2026.

The main objective of the meet was to identify and nurture raw athletic talent at the grassroots level and to prepare selected athletes for the upcoming District Level School Games.

The students of both Government and Private schools under Hee Martam BAC participated enthusiastically in the event. The students showcased great sportsmanship and competitive spirit in various track and field events including 100m, 200m, 400m, long jump, shot put under different age categories for both boys and girls.

The program was graced by Mr. Jeewan S***a, Deputy Director, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Hee Martam BACand Mr. Kinzang Dorjee Bhutia, Block Education Officer, Hee Martam BAC along with Physical Education Teachers Teachers from all the participating schools.

The selected best athletes from the Block Level will now represent Hee Martam BAC at the District Level Athletics Meet.

Block Education Office, Hee Martam BAC extends our heartiest Congratulations to The Principal, Teachers and Students of Lower Bermiok Uchchatar Sanskrit Pathsala for successfully organising the 15-Day Summer Academic Enrichment Course for students which concluded on 31/08/2026.

The initiative reflects your commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. The course provided a valuable platform for students to explore subjects beyond their regular curriculum, including Science, Mathematics, English, Sanskrit, Yoga, Personal Development, and Indian Knowledge System. Such exposure will undoubtedly equip our students with essential skills and confidence to compete in the real world and open wider opportunities for their future.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Directorate of Languages, Education Department, Government of Sikkim and Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi for their generous funding and continued support. Their vision in promoting such programs is highly beneficial for the students of Pathsala and for strengthening traditional as well as modern learning.

2nd TEACHER CONFERENCE - DIET, GYALSHING.

On 15.05.2026, BEO Hee Martam BAC attended the 2nd Teacher Conference organised by DIET Gyalshing. The conference provided a platform for teachers from Soreng and Gyalshing Districts to present their Action Research in the presence of SCERT Officers, CEOs, Block Heads, and School Heads of both districts.
