A Football Jersey Distribution Programme was organized at Government Senior Secondary School, Gerethang, Gyalshing District to encourage students to actively participate in todays junior football match on the auspicious ceremony of 80th independence day at Upper Gerethang and promote sportsmanship. Government Senior Secondary School Gerethang Gyalshing District celebrated 212 Bhanu Jayanti with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Nepali poet Adikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya. The celebration witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students and teachers from various feeder schools.The programme began with a welcome address, followed by a floral tribute to Adikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya. Students from different feeder schools presented a variety of cultural programmes, including Nepali poem recitation, traditional dances, Ramayana Bachan (recitation), and other cultural performances. Each presentation reflected the richness of Nepali language, literature, and culture.The event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their talents while promoting cultural awareness, confidence, and appreciation for the literary contributions of Adikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya.
