Independence Day Celebration 2026

Our school celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit in the presence of the School In-charge, teaching and non-teaching staff, students, guardians, and members of the local community.
The Chief Guest of the programme was our senior teacher, Mr. C. L. Chettri.
Various cultural and sports activities were organised as part of the Independence Day celebration. The students participated enthusiastically in different events and showcased their talents, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The programme created a joyful and patriotic atmosphere among the students and community members. It also helped promote the values of national unity, patriotism, discipline, and brotherhood among the students.
The celebration concluded with a sense of pride and respect for our nation and the Tricolour. 🇮🇳

🇮🇳 Har Ghar Tiranga Programme
Har Ghar Tiranga was observed in collaboration with NHPC, Rangeet Nagar, with the active participation of students of DAV School and Sikkim Police IRB.
The programme aimed to promote patriotism, national unity, and respect for the National Flag. Students and participants enthusiastically took part in the programme, spreading the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga” and encouraging everyone to proudly display the Tricolour.
The participation of NHPC Rangeet Nagar, DAV School students, and Sikkim Police IRB made the programme meaningful and inspiring. 🇮🇳

Day 7 of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp was observed in our school with various engaging activities. Students enthusiastically participated in the traditional Pittu game, which helped enhance teamwork, coordination, sportsmanship, and communication skills. All the children actively took part and enjoyed the activities.
The 7-day Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp concluded with a student feedback session, where participants shared their experiences and learning outcomes. Certificates were distributed to all the participants in recognition of their active involvement. Day 1 and Day 2 of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp were observed in our school. Students participated in various activities under the guidance of the resource teacher.
