Delighted to share that Team Trinetra from the DroneX AeroTech Club, MITS Gwalior has secured a place among the Top 50 teams in the prestigious AUVSI SUAS 2026 International Competition (USA).

🏆 Among 94 teams worldwide, MITS Gwalior achieved the 17th rank, emerging as the only institution from India to qualify for this stage.

The team has developed an AI-powered disaster response drone designed to assist in search-and-rescue operations and emergency relief during natural disasters.

This milestone has been achieved under the guidance of Dr. Yashwant Sawle, Faculty Mentor of the DroneX AeroTech Club, in collaboration with Vyom Drones Private Limited.

We sincerely thank Dr. R. K. Pandit, Vice Chancellor, and the administration of MITS Gwalior for its continuous support, encouragement, and excellent facilities that made this achievement possible.
