As they say, out with the old and in with the new, the website of Infotsav has been launched , kick starting the rounds of several competitions for the participating students. The wait is finally over and the official website of Infotsav 2013 is now up and functioning .infotsav.org .Infotsav this year is inviting "ideas" from across the country ranging from tackling technology in social issues, robots and B-plans and concepts to improve e-commerce and a lot more..
Infotsav always aims to provide you with right mixture of fun and knowledge and we hope that this new site will allow all of you to better understand our reach, versatility and concept .
For the past few months we have been working on putting the new look together, and we hope that the web site is a true mirror image of what we plan on offering in Infotsav 2013. The new website features easy to use navigation tabs, prominent ordering links, along with a new twist given by the windows 8 interface and (obviously!!) lots of new content to keep you up to date with the events of Infotsav 2013.

Contest #1 In the state of Orissa, there is a village called Packpur.
The village is deprived of basic civic aminities like electricity, education, healthy drinking water. A girl resident Malala of that village wants formal education. Packpur has a population of 100 children under the age of 14. But no one except Malala want to go to school neither their families are concerned abou education. The nearest school in the district is 20 kms far. Please comment in your ideas to solve this problem of Malala and village Packpur, also comment your views on the sutability of subject's name(Malala) i.e. why we have choosen this name.
