World Cancer Day 2026 was meaningfully celebrated at the BIMR Hospital Campus. The programme aligned with the global theme “United by Unique,” emphasizing people‑centred cancer care and acknowledging the unique journey of every individual affected by cancer.
The programme included an awareness skit, mime performance, hand painting activity, an informative speech by Onco Surgeon Dr. Gaurav Agarwal, and an inspiring live story shared by a cancer survivor.
The event aimed to spread awareness, promote early detection, and stand in solidarity with cancer warriors, reinforcing hope, strength, and compassion.Programme was graced by the presence of Executive trustee members , team of Oncology department, Principal,Guests, faculty and students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the organizing committee, speakers, participants, and all those who contributed to making the programme a success.✨

BIMR Nursing College successfully organized an awareness lecture on 23.01.26 on the topic Cervical Cancer and HPV Vaccination by Dr. Snehlata Dubey, HOD, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

The session highlighted the causes, risk factors, early screening methods, and the vital role of HPV vaccination in preventing cervical cancer. Students actively participated and gained valuable insights to promote women’s health and preventive care in the community.
The programme witnessed active participation from nursing students and faculty members. Students enthusiastically interacted with the speaker, asked relevant questions, and gained clarity on preventive strategies and counseling techniques related to cervical cancer and HPV vaccination.
