Today, we worked on a drill to get better at speaking clearly. Some of you might be wondering what articulation is. Basically, it's how well you pronounce words. Doing articulation drills can help make your speech clearer by practicing specific sounds. We did a fun drill called "Pencil it in," which is also known as a traditional drill play.'
How to do it 👉👉
Put a pencil between your teeth horizontally (like a dog holding a bone) and say the troublesome word or group of words slowly, but precisely. The pencil creates an obstruction that forces my tongue to be clear about where it should be when you are articulating that word. When you take the pencil out of your gob(mouth) , your tongue will know where to go, and you will usually pronounce the word perfectly.
