ISTE Students' Chapter AEC

The ISTE-Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematical Competitions - 2015-2016 for engineering and polytechnic college students and teacher has been postponed.
The Chapter level round will be held on 27th march (Sunday) instead of 12th March.
The online registration will be open till 14th March

The form for the ISTE-Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematical Competitions - 2015-2016 for engineering and polytechnic college students and teachers from India is out. The contest aims to stimulate the creativity and the mathematical talent of students and teachers of engineering fraternity.
Examination will be conducted at two levels namely Chapter Level and National Level separately for all four categories (Engineering College Teachers, Engineering College Students, Polytechnic College Teachers and Polytechnic College Students). All the students from first to final year are eligible. The Chapter Level examination will be conducted online from this year.
Important dates -
- Chapter Level Examination - 12th March, 2016
- National Level Examination - 26th March, 2016

Note-
1) This time the winner of north-east region will be given be a chance to attend the international conference of ISTE to be held at Paris- It will be fully sponsored trip from ISTE.
2) Non- ISTE members can also register for it. But if they qualify for the next round, then they have to take the membership of ISTE to participate further.

A talk on ‘Transforming India- Challenges and Opportunities’ is scheduled to be held on 9/02/2016 (Tuesday) by Prof Rajeev Malhotra , author of the first ever INDIA PUBLIC POLICY REPORT, which was published by Oxford University Press , 2014.

Profile of the speaker-
Prof Rajeev Malhotra, an Economist and a former Civil Servant is an eminent personality in the field of governance and public policy. He chose to leave the Government of India to focus on his passion for academic research and education with a view to help improve the process and quality of policy making capacity, particularly at the state-level in India. He is currently Professor and Executive Director at the Centre for Development and Finance, School of Government and Public Policy, O.P. Jindal Global University, Delhi NCR.

Note- This talk is a very good opportunity for civil service aspirants. They can interact with him and get a hands on experience for their preparation. He will also talk about new opportunities after graduation, The talk will be only for 30 mins followed by 15 mins interaction.
