We had the distinct honor of participating in the high-level workshop, “Linking India–EU Migration Opportunities and the Northeast Corridor,” held at Novotel Guwahati, on 12/02/2026. Conducted under the aegis of the Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility (CDMM II) project.

The inaugural session featured a distinguished panel of leaders, including Dr. Ravi Kota, IAS (Chief Secretary, Govt. of Assam), Smt. Gina Uika Joint Secretary, MEA), and Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, IAS (Principal Secretary, Govt. of Assam), alongside international leadership from the ILO and ICMPD.

The workshop focused on institutionalizing safe, orderly, and regular migration pathways. By bridging the gap between state-level stakeholders and international regulatory frameworks, the project aims to empower the region’s youth with the resources necessary for successful academic and professional pursuits in the European Union.
