The Three-Day Summer Camp on Mathematics, organized by the Department of Mathematics, Dimoria College (Autonomous), Khetri, in association with the Assam Academy of Mathematics (AAM), was successfully conducted from 1st July to 3rd July, 2026.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with 452 students from 27 schools participating enthusiastically. Students from Classes V to XI took part in engaging sessions that included interactive lectures, puzzles, problem-solving sessions and motivational talks by distinguished resource persons. The following resource persons attended the camp-
1st Day-

The camp aimed to develop mathematical thinking, logical reasoning, and a love for mathematics among young learners. The active participation of students, dedicated efforts of resource persons, mentors, volunteers, and the wholehearted support of participating schools contributed significantly to the grand success of the programme.

The organizers express their sincere gratitude to all supporters, sponsors, teachers, volunteers, and well-wishers for their invaluable contributions in making the camp a memorable and successful event.

Dimoria College (Autonomous) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Barsha Lahkar, a student of the Department of Geography, who secured the Gold Medal in the Women's 52 kg Powerlifting category at the Inter-College Weightlifting and Powerlifting Competition organized by Mayang Anchalik College under Gauhati University. Her remarkable performance reflects her dedication, discipline, and sporting excellence, bringing pride and recognition to the college. She participated in the competition under the guidance of Mr. Sahadev Mili, Teacher-in-Charge from the Department of Economics, whose encouragement and support contributed to the successful representation of Dimoria College at the prestigious inter-college event. The college extends its heartfelt congratulations to Barsha Lahkar and wishes her continued success in her future sporting endeavors.
