NEET-2012 National Eligibility cm Entrance Test 2012

Instead of AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test), Medical Council of India (MCI) will conduct NEET (National Eligibility cm Entrance Test) in 2012. Previously, AIPMT was conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to fill up about 1900 MBBS and 250 odd dental seats in various participating Medical and Dental Colleges accross the country. But from the year 2012 onwards, MCI will conduct a Common Entrance Examination for MBBS called NEET (National Eligibility cm Entrance Test) where single merit list will be created for close to 35,000 MBBS seats across the country, which will show state, minorities and SC/ST quotas.

Notification Date

Notification for NEET-2012 will be published on all the major News Papers in India as well on its relevant website in the month of December 2011.

NEET-2012 for MBBS Admissions likely on May 13, 2012 (Sunday)

How to Apply

1.Online Registration: You can apply online for NEET 2012 in the Official Website www.mciindia.org

2.Offline Registration: Application Form along with the Prospectus for NEET 2012 will be available in all the major Towns of a State at an authorized outlet like Bank / Post Office from where you can collect and send the Application Form as instructed in the Prospectus.

Exam pattern

NEET 2012 will have three papers Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Biology is likely to have 60 questions and Physics & Chemistry for 45 questions each. Questions Paper will be multiple choice based. Regarding difficulty issue, Physics will be in high difficlty level.

All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2012 - AIEEE 2012

The 11th All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE 2012) for admission to various NITs, IIITs, deemed Universities and for few States is proposed to be held by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi on 29th April, 2012 (Sunday) for admission in B.E/ B.Tech and B.Arch/ B.Planning. The detailed information will also be available on AIEEE website. This year, CBSE is planning to conduct online exam on mass scale. Students are advised to acquaint themselves.

Notification for AIEEE 2012 is published in all the major national news papers in India & the website - www.aieee.nic.in in on 15th Nov, 2011 onwards.

How to Apply

To apply for AIEEE 2012 Online Examination or AIEEE 2012 (Offline) please visit the website www.aieee.nic.in and do the following steps -

1. Fill the Online Application Form and note down the Registration Number.
2. Make payment of Fee by Demand Draft, Credit Card or Debit Card.
3. Take a printout of Confirmation Page and send to AIEEE Office at New Delhi by Registered or Speed Post.

Note: Online Submission of Application on www.aieee.nic.in from 15th-Nov-2011 to 31st-Dec-2012.

Important Note: Last Date of accepting the Confirmation Page : 05-January-2012.

The online submission of particulars may be made at website www.aieee.nic.in. The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Confirmation page with Registration No. shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation page and paste photographs, put left hand thumb impression, sign in the space earmarked for the purpose and write down the Residential Address. The confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered/Speed Post to CBSE (NOT BY COURIER) to the above mentioned New Delhi address along with original Demand Draft (if fee paid by Demand Draft) for further processing so as to reach latest by 05.01.2012 . Application received beyond this date will not be accepted. Payment can also be made by Credit / Debit Card.
