Valedictory Ceremony | All India Law Graduate Conclave 2026

The University School of Law and Research, USTM cordially invites everyone to the Valedictory Ceremony of the All India Law Graduate Conclave 2026.

The ceremony will be graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice (Retd.) B. R. Gavai, former Chief Justice of India, and Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Revati Mohite Dere, Chief Justice of the High Court of Meghalaya, along with several distinguished legal luminaries.

World Ozone Day 2026

The Department of Chemistry, USTM, observed World Ozone Day 2026 with an academic and outreach programme under the theme “From Science to Global Action.”

The programme featured a quiz competition, an awareness lecture on the ozone layer and the Montreal Protocol, a video demonstration and an awareness rally carrying the message, “Heal the Ozone Layer, Heal the Earth.”

A workshop on “Competitive Examinations and Career Opportunities” was also held. Prof. Mohd. Qureshi of IIT Guwahati delivered the keynote address, guiding students on career planning, higher education and opportunities in science.

Prof. G. D. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of USTM, Dr R. K. Sharma, Advisor, USTM, Prof. Enamul Karim, Dean, SoAS, and Shri Mayur Bora, Author-in-Residence, also graced the occasion.

Our ALUMNI Our Pride:::::::::::::
We are very proud to announce that our BSc alumnus, Mustafizur Rahman, who was selected for the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s scholarship in the European Union, has successfully graduated.

His remarkable academic journey took him from Warsaw to Toulouse, then Ljubljana, and eventually across the Atlantic to the USA. During his Master’s, he performed exceptionally well in his research project under the supervision of Prof. Yury Gogotsi at Drexel University, USA, (Drexel Nanomaterials Institute).

We wish him continued success in all his future endeavors. Congratulations, Mustafizur!
