As part of the Round Square Global 60 for 60 Challenge, students and teachers of Miles Bronson Residential School visited Mother Old Age Home on 3 June 2026, embracing the true spirit of Service and Internationalism.

The visit was an opportunity to connect with the elderly residents through heartfelt conversations, shared smiles, and meaningful moments of companionship. More than a service activity, it was a lesson in empathy, gratitude, and the importance of human connection.

By listening to stories, spending quality time together, and expressing care and respect, our students discovered that service is not only about giving, it is about understanding, compassion, and making a positive difference in the lives of others.

As part of the Round Square Global 60 for 60 Challenge, Miles Bronson Residential School proudly hosted a Fundraiser Carnival on 20 June 2026, bringing together students, teachers, parents, and the wider school community for a day filled with fun, creativity, and compassion.

From exciting game stalls and delicious food counters to engaging student-led activities, the campus buzzed with energy as our students showcased outstanding leadership, teamwork, and initiative by planning and managing the event.

Beyond the festivities, the carnival carried a deeper purpose—supporting a meaningful charitable cause. Every contribution reflected the values of empathy, service, and social responsibility, reminding us that even small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.

As part of the Round Square Global 60 for 60 Challenge, Miles Bronson Residential School proudly hosted a Zero Waste Marathon on 14 June 2026, championing the values of environmental responsibility, healthy living, perseverance, and community participation.

Students and teachers came together to prove that every step can make a difference. Alongside promoting physical fitness and resilience, the marathon embraced zero waste practices, encouraging participants to reduce waste, respect the environment, and become advocates for a cleaner, greener future.

Running side by side, students inspired one another to push beyond their limits while embodying the Round Square IDEALS of Adventure, Leadership, and Service. 🥾🌿 Stepping Beyond Comfort Zones, One Trail at a Time!

As part of the Round Square Global Challenge Phase I and the Round Square 60 for 60 Adventure Challenge, Bronsonians, embarked on an adventurous trekking expedition along the scenic Basistha Trail, Guwahati, on 7th June 2026.

Beginning before sunrise, participants challenged themselves with a 10–12 km trek through nature, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, leadership, and environmental awareness, values that lie at the heart of the Round Square IDEALS.

The Round Square 60 for 60 Adventure Challenge celebrates Round Square’s 60th anniversary by encouraging students around the world to undertake meaningful adventures that stretch them beyond their comfort zones while embracing the spirit of discovery and global citizenship.

This initiative, led by our students and teachers under the guidance of our Revered Founder and Principal, Dr. Nripen Kumar Dutta, and Henaa Duttaa, Director of Management and Growth, encouraged participants to embrace challenges, discover their strengths, and develop a spirit of adventure.

As part of Round Square’s 60 for 60 Adventure Challenge, this experience reflects our commitment to meaningful learning beyond the classroom and to nurturing courageous, responsible, and globally minded young people.

🏆 MBRS Wins Accolades at Inter-School Poster Making Competition! 🌿🦌

Miles Bronson Residential School is proud to share that Alisha Das of Class VIII secured the Third Prize in Group A (Classes VII–IX) at the Inter-School Poster Making Competition organized by Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School, Guwahati, on 5th June 2026, commemorating World Environment Day.

The competition was based on the theme, “Save Mother Nature and Save Wildlife”, inspiring young minds to creatively express the importance of environmental conservation and wildlife protection.

🌾✨ Celebrating Culture, Connection, and Global Citizenship ✨🌾

Miles Bronson Residential School was proud to host the AFS Bihu Celebration – A Cultural Interaction Program on 22nd May 2026 in collaboration with AFS Intercultural Programs.

Bringing together students and educators from leading schools across the region, the programme celebrated the vibrant spirit of Assam through traditional Bihu performances, intercultural exchange, and meaningful interactions. Our Bronsonians showcased their talent and cultural pride through a captivating Bihu dance performance that was warmly appreciated by all.

The event featured a welcome song, ceremonial lamp lighting, an inspiring address by Founder & Principal Dr. Nripen Kumar Dutta, felicitation of guests, cultural performances, and a vote of thanks.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Faculty Higher Secondary School, Amingaon; Maria’s Public School, Birkuchi; Royal Global School, Betkuchi; and all participating students, teachers, and coordinators for their enthusiastic involvement and contribution to the success of the programme.

Adding a global dimension to the celebration, the programme was also streamed online and joined virtually by distinguished members of AFS from different locations, reinforcing the values of international friendship, cultural understanding, and global citizenship.

Hosted by Don Bosco School on 16–17 May 2026, the tournament brought together 11 leading schools from the Greater Guwahati Region.
