Regarding Eid-ul-Adha and Vacation of Madrassas

Guwahati, Assam | 17 May 2026

The Madrassa Education Board (Ahle Hadis Salafi), Assam hereby informs all affiliated and recognized Madrassas, respected teachers, students, guardians, and concerned authorities that according to the announcement made by the Central Ahle Hadis Ru’yat-e-Hilal Committee, Delhi, Eid-ul-Adha will be observed on Thursday, 28 May 2026, In Sha Allah.

On this occasion, Eid-ul-Adha vacation in all Madrassas recognized under the Madrassa Education Board (Ahle Hadis Salafi), Assam shall remain in force from 25/05/2026 to 04/06/2026.

All heads of institutions and teachers are requested to guide the students during the vacation period towards religious values, moral discipline, cleanliness, social harmony, and the true spirit of sacrifice and brotherhood as taught in Islam.

It is further notified that after completion of the vacation, the regular classes and academic activities of all recognized Madrassas shall resume from 05/06/2026 (Friday) in normal course. All concerned are instructed to ensure punctual attendance and smooth continuation of academic activities from the reopening date.

May Almighty Allah bless us all with peace, prosperity, and the true understanding of the spirit of Eid-ul-Adha. Ameen.

عید الاضحیٰ اور تعطیلاتِ مدارس کے سلسلہ میں اہم اعلان
مَدْرَسہ ایجوکیشن بورڈ اہلِ حدیث سلفی، آسام کی جانب سے تمام متعلقہ مدارس، اساتذۂ کرام، طلبہ و سرپرستان کو مطلع کیا جاتا ہے کہ مرکزی اہلِ حدیث رؤیتِ ہلال کمیٹی دہلی کے اعلان کے مطابق عید الاضحیٰ بروز جمعرات 28 مئی 2026ء کو ادا کی جائے گی، ان شاء اللہ تعالیٰ۔
اسی مناسبت سے مَدْرَسہ ایجوکیشن بورڈ اہلِ حدیث سلفی، آسام کے تحت منظور شدہ و ملحقہ تمام مدارس میں عید الاضحیٰ کی تعطیلات مورخہ 25/05/2026 سے 04/06/2026 تک رہیں گی۔
تمام مدارس کے ذمہ داران سے گزارش ہے کہ تعطیلات کے دوران طلبہ کی دینی، اخلاقی اور تعلیمی رہنمائی پر خصوصی توجہ دیں اور عید الاضحیٰ کے مبارک موقع پر سنتِ ابراہیمی، اخوتِ اسلامی، صفائی و نظم و ضبط اور معاشرتی ہم آہنگی کے پیغام کو عام کریں۔
مزید یہ کہ تعطیلات کے اختتام کے بعد تمام منظور شدہ مدارس میں تعلیمی سرگرمیاں حسبِ معمول مورخہ 05/06/2026 بروز جمعہ سے دوبارہ جاری ہوں گی۔ تمام اساتذہ، طلبہ اور ذمہ داران کی بروقت حاضری کو یقینی بنانے کی ہدایت دی جاتی ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب کو عید الاضحیٰ کی حقیقی روح کو سمجھنے اور اس پر عمل کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

The Moon of Zul Hijjah Has Not Been Sighted

Guwahati, Assam | 17 May 2026

According to the press statement issued by the Madrassa Education Board (Ahle Hadis Salafi), Assam, today on 29th Zul Qa’dah 1447 Hijri, corresponding to Sunday, 17 May 2026, after Maghrib prayer, contacts were established with different districts and responsible members of Jamiat Ahle Hadis Assam regarding the sighting of the moon of Zul Hijjah 1447 Hijri. However, no authenticated report of moon sighting was received from any place.

Therefore, it has been decided that tomorrow, Monday, shall be the 30th of Zul Qa’dah 1447 Hijri, and Eid-ul-Adha prayer shall be observed on Thursday, 28 May 2026, In Sha Allah.
