On 12th January 2026, a Track & Field event was organized for the youngest members of the STG family. The students had a gala time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the futsal ground. With stiff competition and great enthusiasm, they gave it their all. We are extremely proud of the talent, determination, and sportsmanship on display.

The children of Small Wonders enjoyed a delightful field trip to the botanical garden, where learning and fun went hand in hand. They spent time playing in the park and exploring the serene surroundings. The children observed a wide variety of plants and vibrant flowers, gaining a deeper appreciation for nature. The outing was made even more special as they shared food with their friends, fostering a sense of friendship and togetherness. It was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone.

The students of Study Centre 1 visited Amrit Udyan for an enriching and enjoyable educational outing. The children spent time walking through the gardens, observing the natural surroundings, and appreciating the greenery.
They brought home-cooked meals, which they shared with their peers, fostering a sense of togetherness and cooperation. The visit also included recreational playtime in the park, accompanied by joyful interactions and meaningful conversations.

The students of Study Centre 2 had a wonderful educational visit to the Khanapara Science Museum this winter. The children were excited to explore interactive exhibits sparking curiosity and a love for learning beyond the classroom.
The day also included a joyful picnic, where students shared food, laughter, and special moments with friends, strengthening bonds and creating a sense of togetherness. It was a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and fun, leaving the children with happy hearts and beautiful memories to cherish.

Students of Study Centre 3 enjoyed an educational visit to the Science Museum, Khanapara, Guwahati on 3rd January 2026.
From fascinating science exhibits and an oil refinery model to the butterfly observatory, prehistoric park, herb garden, and aquarium, the trip offered hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences beyond the classroom.
The visit sparked curiosity, encouraged exploration, and deepened students’ interest in science.
A perfect blend of learning, discovery, and fun that made the day truly memorable.

The SC 4 field trip to the Botanical Garden, Fancy Bazar was both enriching and memorable. Students explored various sections of the garden, discovering tropical plants, medicinal herbs, and native species. The Hedge Maze quickly became a favourite spot, adding excitement to the experience. Observing exotic plants such as orchids, palm trees, and succulents was truly fascinating. The visit sparked meaningful conversations about caring for our environment, from planting more trees to reducing waste at home. Amidst vibrant blooms and lush greenery, students shared joyful moments, playing, laughing, and strengthening bonds of friendship, reflecting the values of sharing and caring. The day concluded on a happy note as the students enjoyed some playtime in the park within the botanical garden.

Students of SC 5 were taken to Marvella Paam, Sualkuchi on 3rd January 2025, on an educational visit to explore silk production and understand the various stages of the weaving process. During the visit, the students witnessed live demonstrations of silk reeling, dyeing, and weaving, gaining firsthand knowledge of the intricate techniques involved. They also learned about the rich craft, culture, and livelihood associated with the silk industry of Assam. The trip proved to be an enriching and memorable experience, helping students appreciate the skill, effort, and heritage behind silk production.

The successful completion of The Indus Trail (24th–30th December 2025) marks a milestone in experiential learning. This immersive educational journey allowed our students to step beyond textbooks and engage deeply with the legacy of the Indus Valley Civilisation, transforming history into a lived and meaningful experience.
Students explored Lothal, Bhuj–Kutch Museum, Dholavira, and Surkotada, participated in a pottery workshop, and experienced the cultural vibrance of Rann Utsav. At every site, learning unfolded through thoughtfully designed exploratory challenges, with students working in teams of four, guided by mentors, turning inquiry, collaboration, and observation into an adventure. The celebration of the region was made even more special as students proudly wore Gujarati attire, embracing local culture alongside historical learning.
This immersive learning experience was created by the Middle School History & Civics Department — Ms Prapti Borah, Ms Sharodi Devi & Ms Kalpika Kalita, and was led by Ms Prapti, Ms Sharodi, Ms Priyanka, and Mr Anirban. We are immensely proud of our students’ curiosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm, and grateful to parents for their continued trust and support.
