Guwahati School of Music Not a school but a Family of music,
It is Guwahati School of Music :) This school is now authorized as a government registered school.

Guwahati School of music , founded by Music Maestro Manoj Baruah & Purabi Sarma in the year of 2006 in the month of February 2nd (which is celebrated as annual function of our school since then) . Apart from playing violin all around the globe, Sir Manoj Baruah want to establish instrumental music in every corner of the society . Starting from small number of students , Sir Manoj Baruah started teaching students the importance of music and its benefits. This school not recognize themselves as school but a huge family. A musical family with Sri Purabi Sarma as mother and Sri Manoj Baruah as father. Every 2nd February of the year is celebrated as the annual function of the school along with Sri Manoj Baruah's CD release and our very dear Madam's Birthday. This family teaches us what is actually 'music' and what are its importances .

Celebrating our 79th Independence Day with some of our Disciples....!
Though we were shattered and saddned by the news of Dr.purabi sarma's mother sudden demise but with a Heavy heart , considering the hard work and emotion of our Disciples and with due permission of Dr. Purabi sarma mam GSM have posted the video.
