To spread joy and show respect towards senior citizens, the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School III visited Seneh Old age home as a part of the social service activity.. During the visit , students and faculty members interacted with the residents and distibuted snacks and essential items . A small cultural programme was also held to create a warm and cheerful atmosphere.
The visit taught the students the values of kindness, compassion and respect for elders.It was a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone.

We are delighted to share that our student, Corporal Ankita Kalita, has been honoured as the Best Cadet of the North East Region (NCC). She has also been awarded a cheque of ₹4,500 along with the Cadet Welfare Scholarship.
Adding to this proud achievement, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School - lll Barsajai has secured the highest number of scholarships among all schools under the 60 Assam Girls BN NCC of the North East Region.
The following cadets have been selected for the CWS Scholarship and received a cheque of ₹ 6000 each.

4th May 2026 marked a significant day for Maharishi Vidya Mandir III as students enthusiastically participated in the school election process. Students from classes VI to X exercised their voting rights responsibly to elect their school representatives.
Under the guidance of Principal Dr Amlan kr Dey a fair and well-organized election was held and Dixit Ranjan Baishya was elected as the School Captain, and Divyanshi B. Haloi as the Vice-Captain. Their victory reflects the trust and confidence reposed in them by their fellow students.

Students of MVM 3, Borsajai actively took part in the City Nature Challenge 2026, organized with the support of WWF, Assam, held from 25th to 27th April.
The City Nature Challenge is a global citizen science initiative conducted annually by institutions such as the California Academy of Sciences and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, aiming to motivate people to explore and document local biodiversity.
During the event, students keenly observed and recorded different plants, animals, and insects using platforms like iNaturalist. This practical experience enhanced their scientific understanding, environmental awareness, and connection with nature.
Their efforts not only added meaningful data for researchers and conservationists but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards preserving the environment and valuing the biodiversity around them.

The beauty and essence of a language can be truly understood when it becomes a widely used medium of communication. In this regard, one cannot deny the important role of the English language. It is one of the most widely used languages in the world and serves as a bridge connecting people from different cultures and countries. English helps us share ideas, express thoughts, and gain knowledge, making it a truly global language.
Every year, we express our love and allegiance to this beautiful language by celebrating World English Day on 23rd April. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of the Bard of Avon, William Shakespeare. Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School III, Guwahati, is no exception in observing this special occasion. The day began with an inspiring and enlightening speech by the Principal of the school, Dr. Amlan Kumar Dey. In his address, he motivated the students to develop their English-speaking skills and highlighted the global importance of the English language.
A colourful cultural programme was also organised to showcase the significance and beauty of English through recitations, songs, and dances. Keeping in view the importance of the day, extempore speech and creative writing activities were also conducted among the students.

Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School III celebrated Akshaya Tritiya on 20th April,2026. The day is important as it marks the foundation of "Sahasrasheersha Purusha Mandal" , a unit of Maharishi World Peace Movement. Dr Amlan Kumar Dey hoisted theAkshaya Tritiya flag in the presence of the students and the faculty
members of the school.Considering the auspiciousness of the day, beautiful bhajans were sang by the students. Mithlesh Kumar Mandal, Hindi teacher MVM delivered a beautiful speech highlighting the importance of Akshaya Tritiya.

The much awaited 5th Edition of the Annual School magazine Bliss , Peace , Harmony was released with great joy and enthusiasm on 18th April, 2026 at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School III, Barsajai .The event was officially inaugurated by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Mayur Bora, an Indian Writer,Critic and Public Speaker from Assam in the presence of the Principal of the School, Dr Amlan Kumar Dey, Teachers , Parents and students.
The occasion was marked by a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. Dr. Amlan Kr. Dey, Principal of MVM - lll, welcomed the Chief Guest and highlighted the importance of the school magazine in his speech Shri Mayur Bora , the Chief Guest, addressed the gathering with his thoughtful and motivating words, while also lightening the atmosphere with his wit and humour. He encouraged students to nurture creativity and express their ideas confidently. His presence added great to the programme and made it even more memorable.
The programme beautifully reflected our rich Assamese culture, featuring soulful Bihu songs and the chanting of shloksd, creating perfect blend of tradition anf modern outlook. The release of Bliss highlighted the collective efforts of students and teachers , providing a platform for young minds to showcase their talents, thoughts and creativity.
The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving everyone proud and inspired by the successsful release of this special edition of our school magazine.
