On August 15, 2023, Dispur College proudly celebrating 77th Independence Day, marking 76 years of freedom.The theme for this year's celebration is “Nation First, Always First,” an integral part of the broader “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Celebration. 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 স্বাধীনতা দিৱসৰ শুভেচ্ছা সকলোলৈকে 🍂🌿🍃🇮🇳

The "1st North East Level Prize Money Debate Competition - 2023" was organised on 12th of August,2023 at Dispur College Auditorium by PATHIK in association with the Debate & Symposium Section, D.C.S.U., Dispur College. 60 participants belonging to the HS, UG and PG levels of various universities, colleges, and schools - as individuals as well as teams - debated on the topic - "The Development of Technology is Creating a Threat Towards the Mental Well-being on Young Generation". Renowned advocate Nekibur Zaman acted as the Speaker in the Competition. Strong voices for and against the motion were witnessed with every participant submitting their points emphatically. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes were awarded in each of the 'Team' and 'Individual' categories. Dr. Navajyoti Borah Sir, Principal, Dispur College, handed over the prize money, trophies and certificates to the winners. Ms. Naina Sarma - an H.S. student - from Dispur College won the Judge's Special Prize. The Event was coordinated jointly by Victor Rajkumar

Orientation Program was organised in Dispur College for the 1st semester students of FYUGP. Principal Dr.Navajyoti Borah Sir interacted with the students and welcomed them with lot of hope and aspirations.

Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of New College Gate.

The foundation stone of new college Gate was laid down by Dr. Balendra Kumar Das, Predident, GB of Dispur College on 19th of July,2023 at 10 AM in presence of College Principal Dr, Navajyoti Borah.The foundation stone was laid after necessary rituals by a Purahit in which teachers, students, office staff were present.
