The Arya Vidyapeeth College Students’ Union submitted a memorandum during a meeting with Mr. Raja Baishya, ACS, Circle Officer of Guwahati Revenue Circle, regarding the urgent need for implementation of speed breakers in front of the college and installation of traffic lights at Arya Nagar Chariali.

The initiative has been taken to ensure the safety and security of students, pedestrians, commuters, and local residents, considering the heavy traffic movement in the area.

We sincerely hope the concerned authorities will take necessary action at the earliest in the greater interest of public safety.

Today, Nayan Jyoti Kashyap, Vice President, Anurag Adhikari, General Secretary, Animesh Mallick, Major Games Secretary of AVCSU on behalf of the Union formally submitted a memorandum to the Principal of AVC requesting the establishment of a Gymnasium, Union Room, and Boys’ Common Room within the college campus.

This initiative has been taken with the aim of improving student welfare, promoting physical fitness, and creating a better academic and campus environment for all students.

AVCSU President, Prabal P Patgiri and General Secretary, Anurag Adhikari, on behalf of the student unions, formally submitted a memorandum to the Controller of Examination highlighting the critical challenges faced by students regarding the payment process for the final examinations of the 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters.

The issue has now been resolved.
