Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM), Guwahati is pleased to share the brochure of the upcoming one-day conference titled “Inclusive Digital Banking in India: Technology, Sustainability, and Regional Development” in collaboration with North Eastern Management Association (NEMA). This conference focuses on the evolving transformation of the Indian banking sector in the era of rapid technological advancement. The deliberations will cover important themes including digital financial inclusion, sustainable and green banking practices, technology-driven innovation such as artificial intelligence and digital payments, cybersecurity, regulatory governance, and strategies for balanced regional development.

IIBM & Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) collaborates for capacity building training, research activities in areas of Urban Infrastructure & related areas and fields of interest & expertise.

The Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM) successfully organised a conference at its premises on 6th February, 2026 titled "Effect of Climate Change on Agriculture and Businesses in the North Eastern Region" in collaboration with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), and sponsored by the Department of Climate Action and Sustainability, .

The conference was held with the objective of getting insights from the all stakeholders associated with climate change on its various issues affecting the Northeast Region.

The inaugural session was graced by Shri Eugene E. Karthak, Director, IIBM; Shri Ajay Jain, Chairman, IIMCIP; Smt. Sushmita Phukan, RD for the NER, RBI; Smti. Ayushi Jain, IAS, Finance Dept. and Nodal Officer, Inclusive and Green Budget Cell, Government of Assam; and Loken Das , CGM, NABARD who gave the inaugural address.

Eminent speakers and distinguished guests graced the one-day event, which concluded with insightful deliberations and a clear way forward for the Institute in addressing the impacts of climate change

IIBM celebrates the 77th Republic Day....

In Collaboration with the Association of Small Finance Banks of India (ASFBI), the Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM), Guwahati, hosted a high-level, two-day residential programme from January 16–17, 2026, specifically designed for the leadership of Small Finance Banks. CCOs/ CROs/ Head-Internal Audits from 12 Small Finance Banks participated. The sessions were led by a blend of regulatory veterans and industry practitioners, including Mr. Ravi Duvvuru, Founder of Duvvuru & Reddy LLP, a renowned expert in banking compliance and also by Retired Chief General Managers (CGMs) and currently serving General Managers (GMs) from the Reserve Bank of India from DoR, DoS & CSITE who provided direct insights into supervisory expectations.
