Festive Cheer Illuminates Kangaroo Kids International Preschool Borjhar Guwahati as Students Celebrate Diwali, Friday, October 17, 2025.
The spirit of Diwali, the Festival of Lights, swept through Kangaroo Kids International Preschool Borjhar Guwahati today, as students, teachers, and staff came together for vibrant and educational celebrations that focused on cultural heritage and eco-friendly fun ensuring that the it was both joy and meaningful learning experiences for the young children.

The celebration began with an engaging storytelling session, where teachers narrated the inspiring legends associated with Diwali, particularly the story of Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya and the victory of light over darkness, and good over evil. This helped the children understand the deeper significance of the festival in an age-appropriate and fun manner. Students listened intently, dressed in colourful traditional attire, preparing to bring the story's message to life.

Students enthusiastically participated in various activities like Diya Decoration, lamp and fire crackers .
The day concluded on a bright note, with the beautiful display of the decorated school premises, leaving the children with fond memories and a deeper connection to one of India's most cherished festivals. The event successfully combined cultural learning, creativity, and community spirit, setting the stage for the main festival day.

A special tribute to the late singer, Zubeen Garg,As a cultural icon whose music and activism touched every segment of society. The candlelight vigil around a portrait of the late singer. Rev. Director, Dr N. K. Dutta Sir , Students and staff observed a minute of silence, followed by the lighting of lamp and special songs “Mayabini “Sung by Our students was a
symbolizing Zubeen Garg's eternal presence as the "Festival of Light" for the state's cultural landscape.

His contributions were immeasurable, and his talent touched countless lives 😭. He will be remembered for his rich contribution to Music 🎵. His renditions were very popular among people across all walks of Life 🪔.
