NEW DELHI — Union Education Minister Dharmendra
Pradhan has tendered his resignation from the Union
Council of Ministers. The decision was communicated
in an official letter addressed to Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.

Reason for Resignation: Sustained nationwide
demonstrations and student protests at Delhi's Jantar
Mantar regarding alleged paper leaks and irregularities
in the NEET-UG examinations.

Official Statement: Pradhan noted that he submitted
