In India, Lord Ganesha (Vinayaka)is revered as the remover of obstacles, the symbol of wisdom, and the deity of new beginnings.

In Japan, a form of Ganesha is known as Kangiten (歓喜天), also called Binayaka-ten. He is revered within Japanese Buddhist traditions and is associated with happiness, harmony, prosperity, and the fulfilment of wishes.

This shared tradition reflects the **centuries-old cultural exchange between India and Japan**, particularly through the spread of Buddhism, along with Indian philosophy, art, and spiritual traditions.

From **Ganesha in India to Kangiten in Japan**, different expressions of devotion remind us of the connections that bring our cultures closer. ❤️

🌟 Celebrating Excellence, Empowering Youth! 🌟
The Japan Centre of Excellence (JACEEX), under Youth4Japan, together with our official partner—the Labour, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Govt. of Mizoram—recently held a special felicitation ceremony to honour our brilliant young Mizo candidates who have successfully passed both the language and skills exams under Japan’s Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program! 🇯🇵🇮🇳

These successful candidates underwent comprehensive language and SSW training at the Youth4Japan Centre in Lower Zarkawt, Aizawl, where they received expert guidance, rigorous preparation, and holistic support to equip them for their journey ahead.

Chaired by Director Pinky Zosangpuii, the event recognized the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of these candidates, who have now secured employment contracts with Japanese employers. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to each achiever, celebrating their commitment to excellence and their role as ambassadors of Mizoram’s talent on the global stage. 🎓✨
Director Pinky Zosangpuii and the Joint Director shared inspiring words of encouragement, highlighting the importance of continuous learning, professional growth, and cultural adaptability as these young professionals embark on their transformative journey in Japan. Their speeches underscored how government-backed initiatives like the SSW program are opening doors to meaningful employment and global opportunities for Mizoram’s youth. 💼🌏
