Inauguration of the Departmental Wall Magazine – “DUBORI” | VOL. 23 | Session 2026-2027 🌾

Theme: “Echoes of Bamboo”

A proud moment for the Department of Botany, North Gauhati College, as the departmental wall magazine, DUBORI– Vol. 23, was inaugurated through the dedicated hard work and creative efforts of the 5th Semester Major students (one of the best creativity)

The magazine was inaugurated by our Governing Body President, Shri Tikendrajit Sarma sir on 05-09-2026, under the guidance of Dr. Runa Rahman.

The Department of Botany, North Gauhati College hosted a Popular Talk on *“Mainstreaming Grassroots Innovations and Traditional Knowledge: NIF’s Experience”* by Dr. Vivek Kumar (FES, FAPT) & Dr. Rajiv Mili (Principal Associate, Guwahati Cell) from the National Innovation Foundation (NIF)-India, an Autonomous Institution under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India.
