Admission Open 2026-27

On the occasion of National Technology Day on 11th May 2026, the Computer Science Department organized an insightful talk by inviting alumnus Prasenjit Das(Batch code:BCA-2010-2013), senior Software Engineer, EPAM. The talk focused on the latest technologies currently shaping the industry and highlighted his inspiring professional journey from student life to the corporate world. His journey served as a source of motivation for aspiring technologists, demonstrating how dedication, perseverance, and passion can lead to professional success.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, making it both engaging and inspiring.

BCA 6th semester students(Batch: BCA-2023-2026) organized the Gaming Event "COSMOS 2026" From 7th to 9th May 2026 in the Campus. Various colleges like Gauhati Commerce College,Royal global university, Dispur College, B. Barooah College, Pragjyotish college, Ramanujan academy, Icon commerce college, Assam University, Sonaram school, etc took part in this thrilling competition. Honorable Principal, Dr. Satya Sarma and Academic Director, Dr. Niren Deka inaugurated and graced the event.
COSMOS 2026 witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who battled through knockout rounds filled with energy, strategy, and competitive spirit. The event featured live streaming and commentary, creating an engaging and professional esports environment for both players and spectators. High-quality gaming systems and LAN connectivity were arranged to provide smooth and fair gameplay throughout the competition.
The champions and runners-up were rewarded with cash prizes, medals, and certificates for their remarkable achievements. The event successfully brought together passionate gamers, encouraging friendship, collaboration, sportsmanship, and healthy competition while making the gaming experience memorable for everyone involved. 🎯🏅. Congratulations to the Co-ordinators for conducting the event with so much effort and enthusiasm.

Department of Bioscience today organised a guest lecture session at the department itself on the topic " Build Smart, Stay Legal: Legal Essentials Every Aspiring Entrepreneur Must Know". Resource person of the event was Shradhanjali Sarma, Founding Partner, Lead Counsel, Sakura Law Chamber, Noida. Students got exposure to pros and cons of entrepreneurships in respective field. The entire session was quite interactive.

"VISIT TO IIT GUWAHATI-

CENTRAL INSTRUMENTATION FACILITY"
Today Department of Bioscience organised an advanced lab visit programme at IIT Guwahati for the students of BSc BT and BSc MCR of the department. Students got exposure to different tools and techniques of advanced laboratory environment of the "Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering". Students even visited the "Central Instrumentation Facility", experienced with work culture and study environment of the IIT, Guwahati. Heartfelt thanks to honourable Dr Utpal Bora, HOD of the department and all the members of the laboratory for your guidance, support, help and most importantly for providing our students this opportunity.

The guest of honour of today's event was Prof. Hridip Kumar Sarmah, HOD, Department of Biotechnology, Gauhati University, Assam. Students got knowledge on different fields under this topic. The entire session was quite interactive.
