The Progress Review Meeting & Apex Council Meeting of SERB-CII Prime Minister’s Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research were held on 15th Feb, 2023, . 34 CII presented their posters to the & new applications were reviewed at the event

Confederation of Indian Industry with the support of Amrit Cement Limited executed its second Project Kaksha initiative at Roman Catholic Lower Primary School in Mynkre village, Rymbai District, Meghalaya with the objective of bringing in Quality improvement in both learning and teaching. This was executed through various activities involving 130+students and 7 teachers of the school over a day. Besides, CII donated 100+ books to the school authorities for their library at the end of the activities. Students and faculties participated actively in the activities

As part of CII Project Kaksha which aims at quality improvement in school education by focusing on holistic development of pedagogy, as envisaged under the new National Education Policy (NEP), we conducted sessions with children at two government schools in remote Meghalaya.
The sessions included three experiments, with the first being on innovations for a better world based on the grand challenges of water, air, ecosystem, local communities as defined by UNSDGs.
The second experiment was called hashtag ecosystem restoration through seed balls, by creating a micro environment for seeds with soil and nutrients. The third experiment was an inspirational exercise for students to help them achieve their goals and ambitions by simply articulating or painting them on a sheet of coloured paper and flying it by shaping it into a plane.
