AMPS was happy to welcome Prerika Arya, from the Batch of 2010, back to her alma mater. She belongs to the first batch of students to appear for the Board Examination from the school.

Today, Prerika is a successful entrepreneur, running her own venture that creates customized organic soaps. Her work blends innovation with sustainability and reflects the values of creativity and self-reliance nurtured at AMPS.

*Inter-House Table Tennis Competition*

The Inter-House Table Tennis Competition for Classes IX–XII was successfully organized at American Montessori Public School. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, physical fitness and healthy competition among students. Students from all houses participated with great enthusiasm and energy. They displayed excellent skills, focus, coordination and determination during the matches. The competition witnessed exciting rallies and thrilling performances that kept everyone engaged. Students demonstrated teamwork, confidence and a strong competitive spirit throughout the event. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and encouragement. Winners were honoured with trophies and medals for their outstanding performances. The event motivated students to actively participate in sports activities. Overall, the competition was a grand success and encouraged students to develop discipline and leadership qualities.

*NCC Cadets Honoured*
*15th May, 2026*

The NCC Certificate Ceremony was organized at Gurgaon University, Sector 51, with great pride and enthusiasm. The event was conducted to honour and encourage NCC cadets for their dedication, discipline and successful completion of NCC training activities.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Brigadier H.S. Burn, GP CDR Rohtak Group, who motivated the cadets with his inspiring words on leadership, patriotism, discipline and national service. During the programme, certificates were distributed to the cadets in recognition of their hard work and commitment towards NCC activities.

The event reflected the true spirit of unity, discipline and service to the nation. It concluded on a positive note with encouragement for students to continue contributing towards society and the country with dedication and responsibility.

*Capacity Building Programme: Stress Management*
*16th May, 2026*

As part of the CBSE Capacity Building Programme, a workshop on Stress Management was conducted at AMPS. The session was conducted by resource persons Ms. Monika Rathi and Ms. Kavita. It was attended by the AMPS faculty members and other teachers from the Delhi NCR belt.

The workshop aimed to equip educators with practical tools to identify, understand and manage stress in both professional and personal spheres. With rising academic demands and evolving classroom challenges, the focus was on building resilience and promoting mental well-being among staff members.

The day began with an interactive discussion on common stressors faced by educators — workload, time pressure, student behaviour and work-life balance. Using relatable examples, Ms. Rathi explained the difference between eustress and distress and how unmanaged stress impacts physical health, productivity and classroom dynamics.

The session included hands-on activities like
guided breathing, progressive muscle relaxation and mindful exercises. The importance of sleep, nutrition, physical activity and digital detox was also discussed. Through role-plays on case studies, Ms. Kavita highlighted situation handling conflicts, parental pressure and deadline stress effectively.

The key takeaway was that stress cannot be eliminated, but it can be managed. The attendees learnt to recognize early signs of burnout, set healthy boundaries and practice self-care without guilt. The importance of peer support and open communication in schools was also highlighted.

The session concluded with a Q&A round and feedback sharing. Participants appreciated the practical approach and found the strategies easy to implement. It was a meaningful step toward creating a healthier, more positive school environment for both teachers and students.

*Recreating the Roman Era*
*14th May, 2026*

Class XI C conducted an engaging and educational activity titled “A Journey Through the Roman Empire .They explored the history, culture and legacy of the Roman Empire.
The students were enthusiastically dressed in traditional Roman togas, creating an authentic atmosphere of ancient Rome. They played the role of Julius Caesar and through skilful enactment, depicted his leadership, achievements and circumstances leading to his assassination.
Students also gave informative presentations on the condition of Roman women and achievements of important Roman rulers such as Constantine the Great and Diocletian.
The activity enriched the students' knowledge of the Roman era and made learning a fun experience.

Splash Pool Party
13th May, 2026

Students of M III to Class II had a wonderful time during the Splash Pool Party filled with laughter, excitement and endless fun. The little learners enjoyed splashing in the pool, dancing to lively music and spending joyful moments with their friends. Fresh and sweet lemonade was served to all the students, making the celebration even more refreshing and enjoyable. The activity created cheerful memories for the student's before the summer break.

*Food Festival*
*14th May, 2026*

The students of Classes I and II enthusiastically participated in the Fruit Festival Activity, where they showcased their creativity by making beautiful and creative fruit displays using a variety of fruits. The colourful presentations reflected the imagination, artistic skills and active involvement of the young learners.

The activity was not only enjoyable but also educational, as it helped students learn about the importance of including fruits in their daily diet. Through this engaging hands-on experience, the school aims to inculcate healthy eating habits and to make fruit eating fun and exciting for children from an early age.

The Fruit Festival was a delightful blend of creativity, learning and healthy living, making it a memorable experience for all.

*Marvels of India – Show and Tell Activity*
*8th May, 2026*

The students of Class II participated in the “Marvels of India” Show and Tell Activity, where they spoke confidently about some of India’s most famous historical monuments and landmarks. Well-prepared with pictures, models and creative props, the students shared interesting facts about renowned monuments such as the Taj Mahal, India Gate, Qutub Minar and Red Fort.

The activity provided a wonderful opportunity for students to enhance their communication skills, confidence, vocabulary and awareness about India’s rich cultural heritage. The children participated with great enthusiasm and expressed themselves creatively, making the activity both informative and enjoyable.The vibrant presentations made the session a memorable and enriching learning experience for everyone.
