A Meaningful Continuation of Environment Week at IHS 🌍✨
At IHS, the spirit of Environment Week continued with great enthusiasm as students from Grades I to XII participated in a series of inter and intra-class competitions, blending communication skills with environmental awareness.
Our young learners showcased their creativity beautifully—Grades I & II participated in an inter-class poem recitation, filling the atmosphere with confident voices, expressive gestures, and vibrant props. 🌿 Grades III & IV brought nature to life through “The Voice of the Voiceless,” creatively depicting trees, rivers, and mountains speaking out through impactful visuals and messages. 🌳💧 Grade V students impressed everyone with a Sustainable Art Exhibition, presenting innovative creations and thoughtful ideas on protecting our planet. 🎨
Middle school students engaged in exciting quiz competitions that deepened their understanding of sustainability and conservation. Senior students from Grades IX - XII explored environmental issues and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through podcast competitions. Grade IX focused on innovative ideas for a better future, Grade X highlighted the theme “Save Environment, Save Future,” Grade XI emphasized key SDGs like climate action, quality education, and gender equality, and Grade XII students collaborated in pairs, presenting thoughtful and creative discussions. 🎙️
These inter and intra-class competitions nurtured confidence, creativity, collaboration, and a strong sense of responsibility towards building a sustainable future. 💚

🔬🌿 Exploring Onion Cells: A Microscopic Journey 🌿🔬
Grade VIII students participated in an engaging lab activity where they observed onion peel cells 🧪📚. They prepared a temporary slide of the onion peel and carefully examined plant cells under the microscope. In addition, students also observed a permanent slide of an animal cell, helping them understand the differences between plant and animal cells more clearly.
This hands-on experiment made learning enjoyable and sparked curiosity about science 🌟🌱. Aligned with NCF and NEP, it was a wonderful example of experiential learning 📖🎉.

On the occasion of World Heritage Day, our students across grades immersed themselves in engaging, creative, and research-driven activities that brought history to life and deepened their appreciation of global cultures 🌍
🔸 Grade V crafted beautiful antique jewellery and seals inspired by ancient civilizations using clay and recycled materials
🔸 Grade VI designed artefacts from the Indus Valley Civilization, showcasing pottery and tools
🔸 Grade VII explored Rajput heritage through detailed drawings of forts, weapons, and jewellery, reflecting bravery and architectural brilliance
🔸 Grade VIII researched renowned museums and archives, presenting artefacts with their historical significance through PPTs
🔸 Grade IX delved into European heritage, creating short videos on artefacts from France, Russia, and Germany
🔸 Grade XI investigated Egyptian history, presenting insights on mummies, pyramids, and sculptures through analytical presentations

World English Day
A School-Wide Celebration of English! ✨📚
Our campus came alive with energy and enthusiasm as students across all classes celebrated World English Day with a range of fun and engaging activities!
Our little learners from Grades I & II enjoyed exciting listening activities, sharpening their focus and comprehension skills in a playful way. 🎧
Laughter echoed through the corridors during the Tongue Twister Challenge, where students crafted their own tricky lines and dared their friends to say them out loud! 😄
Budding writers showcased their creativity through article writing, expressing their thoughts with confidence and flair. ✍️
The excitement continued with interactive listening and drawing activities, where students worked in pairs—one describing while the other illustrated—beautifully bringing ideas to life. 🎨
These activities not only strengthened language skills but also encouraged creativity, teamwork, and self-expression. It was truly a joyful celebration of words, ideas, and young voices coming together as one! 💫

🧪✨ Exploring Mixtures & Compounds in the Lab ✨🧪
Grade VII students explored the concepts of mixtures and compounds through an engaging chemistry lab activity. They performed a hands-on experiment with iron and sulfur, observing how the two can exist as a mixture and, upon heating 🔥, form a compound.
This practical approach helped students clearly understand the difference between mixtures and compounds. The activity made learning enjoyable and meaningful, sparking curiosity about chemistry and its real-world applications. Aligned with NCF and NEP guidelines, it was a wonderful learning experience filled with discovery, excitement, and deeper understanding 📖✨.

Our Grade IX students showcased their creativity and innovation in an exciting CT & AI activity, “My Dream Smart Home” 🤖💡. They designed futuristic homes powered by smart technologies, integrating automation , energy efficiency , advanced security systems , and AI-based solutions.
From voice-controlled appliances to eco-friendly ideas , their projects reflected a perfect blend of imagination and practical thinking. This engaging activity enhanced their computational thinking , problem-solving skills , and creativity , while building awareness about how technology can shape a smarter, safer, and more sustainable future 🚀✨.

🕊️✨ पक्षी जगत की रोचक यात्रा ✨🕊️
NCF और HCF के अंतर्गत कक्षा सातवीं के छात्रों ने पक्षियों पर आधारित एक रोचक गतिविधि में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया 🐦। इस गतिविधि के माध्यम से छात्रों ने विभिन्न पक्षियों के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त की और उनके महत्व को समझा ।
छात्रों ने अपने विचारों को रचनात्मक ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया 🎨✍️, जिससे उनकी सृजनात्मक और कल्पनात्मक क्षमता का विकास हुआ । यह गतिविधि न केवल ज्ञानवर्धक रही, बल्कि प्रकृति के प्रति संवेदनशीलता और जिज्ञासा भी बढ़ाने में सहायक बनी ।

Imperial Heritage School celebrated Environment Week with great enthusiasm, where learning met action and creativity 🌍✨
Students across all grades actively participated in a range of engaging activities that promote environmental awareness and responsibility. Our young learners expressed their love for nature through hands-on creations like “Palm to Thumb Tree,” “Leafy Letter Art,” and colourful Environment Day artworks. They also explored sustainability by designing “Trash to Treasure” projects and beautiful Earth models using recycled materials.
Taking a step further, students of higher grades emerged as responsible Water Warriors, conducting a detailed water audit within the school and spreading awareness about water conservation. The week was made even more impactful with powerful nukkad natak performances by students of Grades IX, XI, and XII, highlighting critical issues like pollution, climate change, deforestation, and resource depletion—while also suggesting meaningful solutions.
Activities such as “Time Travel: Earth – Then, Now & Next” and poster-making sessions encouraged students to reflect on the changing state of our planet and envision a greener, more sustainable future.
Through this enriching week, students not only enhanced their creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork but also embraced the important message that every small effort counts in protecting our environment 💚🌱

Environment Week- E- waste management
E-Waste Disposal & Management Drive – A Remarkable Initiative!
IHS recently conducted an E-Waste Disposal & Management Drive for students of Grades I to XII, and the response was truly inspiring!
Students enthusiastically participated by bringing old and unused electronic items such as mobile phones, chargers, batteries, and other gadgets. The drive witnessed active involvement across all grades, showcasing a growing sense of environmental awareness and responsibility among our young learners.
Through this initiative, we successfully:
• Promoted awareness about responsible e-waste disposal
• Encouraged recycling and sustainable practices
• Inspired students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our students, parents, and teachers for their valuable contribution in making this drive a success. Every small step counts towards building a cleaner and greener future!

Environment Day Celebration at IHS 🌍
On the occasion of Environment Day, IHS proudly began Environment Week with creative and meaningful activities under the theme “Each One Plant One” 🌱, encouraging every student to take a step towards a greener Earth.
👶 Nursery: “Tiny Hands, Big Earth” — our little learners enjoyed fun activities that taught them how small actions can care for our planet.
🎨 LKG: “Planet Earth – My Home” — students expressed love for Earth through colorful and creative artwork.
🛍️ UKG: Eco-friendly tote bag making helped children understand the importance of reducing plastic use.
🍽️ Classes I–II: Paper plate crafts encouraged students to learn reuse in a fun and creative way.
🎨 Classes III–V: “Art for the Earth” — students brought leaves, flowers, and twigs from nature and creatively used them to design beautiful artworks, showcasing how natural materials can be used to express care and love for the Earth.
📓 Classes VI–VIII: Mini Biodiversity Journals helped students explore and observe nature closely.
♻️ Classes IX–XII: Senior students conducted an awareness session on “Say No to Plastic”, inspiring younger students to adopt eco-friendly habits.
