Gaurav passed out from the prestigious Indian Military Academy, DEHRADUN , UK (India) as a commisioned officer in the Ladakh Scouts of the Indian Army. After training at the National Defence Academy for three years and the Indian Military Academy for another one year, he has won a career at India's most exciting workplace. May the winds of fortune blow kindly upon him. 🇮🇳

The Indian Army celebrates 15 January as the Indian Army Day, commemorating the transfer of command of the Indian Army from the then Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army, Gen Sir Francis Robert "Roy" Bucher, KBE CB MC to the first Indian to hold the Appointment, Lt Gen (later, Field Marshal) Kodandera "Kipper" Madappa Cariappa, OBE on 15 January 1949.
On the occasion of the 69th Indian Army Day, the Indian Military Memes team salutes all serving and retired personnel of the Indian Army, for their selfess service to the nation, in war or peace, above and beyond the call of duty.
