We welcome the launch of PM Vishwakarma Scheme by the Government of India. The scheme is surely need based and very well designed to suit the context of unorganised sector workers who work with hands and tools.

We are already on course to enroll 10000 vishwakarmas before the end of this financial year and contribute to the efforts of the government.

To protect rights of the child of a migrant worker, ensuring social security of whole family is critical. One of the key elements of our program is collaborating with varied organisations/companies and connecting the contractual workforce with need based public welfare schemes.

We recently entered into one such partnership with the Centre for Ethics, Responsible Organisations & ESG Initiatives at MDI Gurgaon [ Management Development Institute ]. As a first step, we conducted "Workshop on Connecting Contract Workers at MDI to Social Security Schemes", the first in a series hosted by MDI. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among contract workers at MDI about government schemes they are entitled to. We are now following through and facilitating the process of connecting the workers to the need based schemes.

We just completed 8 years of teaching the children of “migrant workers”. Pure love and gratitude. Salute to the mothers of our students who kept us inspired. Every single moment!

On November 20, 2022, Agrasar team Members and children with the Rahgiri Foundation honored the world day of remembrance for road traffic victims.
The purpose of the day was to raise awareness while remembering those who died, supporting those who survived and taking action to save lives.
