Gurgaon Children's Literature Festival

Gurgaon Children's Literature Festival 2019 turned out to be a bigger success than we had imagined!
What defines its impact is how many families turned up and witnessed a kind of event that was absolutely unexplored for them. Children were not only seen enjoying the sessions & performances but also actively participating in and engaging with the artists during the sessions.

The festival had a number of interesting sessions, performances and interactive workshops for children and parents, led by award-winning children's authors and artists from around the nation. The line-up included renowned authors and artistes such as Deepa Kiran, Vikram Sridhar, Roopa Pai, Roopal Kewalya, Khilona Theatre Group, Sushree Mishra, Archit Taneja, Benita Sen, and more!

In today's times when children are more driven towards meaningless digital entertainment and engagement, parents breathed a sigh of relief and joy to see their children interested in buying books and reading. Where on one hand children got introduced to theatre, music, storytelling, writing, and creative arts, parents on the other hand got a chance to connect meaningfully with their children and learn a thing or two themselves about effective ways of parenting through storytelling workshops and panel discussions aimed at the same.

We had a great time organizing and executing the event for the parents and children of Gurgaon. In no time, we'll get busy curating an even better edition 4 for you!



19th & 20th January, 2019

We had an enormous turnout on Day 1 of the Gurgaon Children's Literature Festival 2019. Each of the session was jam-packed. What's even better about this year is that many parents participated in and benefitted from the parenting sessions and workshops. Some of the artistes that won the hearts of parents and children alike are Neil Jarial (Aunty Neil), Vikram Sridhar from Tahatto, Khilona Theatre Group, Clowning Act by Sumit Rawat, Qissagoi and musical storytelling by Kapil Pandey, Creative Writing workshop by Manmeet Narang, pictorial calligraphy workshop by Qamar Dagar, and many more!

Day 2 has much more in store. We have sessions with globally renowned artistes like Roopa Pai, Deepa Kiran, Roopal Kewalya, Ajit Narayan, etc. Tickets will also be available at the venue, so we hope to see you there!

- The event timings are 11 AM - 5:30 PM on both days.

- You are advised to reach the event venue half an hour early to avoid delay due to the registration queue.

- Please reach the session hall 20 minutes before the session starts. Entry will not be allowed once the session has begun and the gates are closed.
