Dear all,

To celebrate International Women’s Day, which was on 8th March 2021, IIPH-Delhi is organising few events for students. It will be organised around the theme “Women’s Health Is Precious- From Girl Child To Grandmother”. This aims to promote a life course approach and also denotes the inter-generational connects of women’s health.



In this context, please find attached the invite for events-

1. Essay writing competition

2. Video making competition

The competition is open to all students enrolled in on campus academic programs in five IIPHs (Delhi NCR, Gandhinagar, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad and Shillong). The attached invite has details of topics for competition.

Winners will be issued a certificate signed by President PHFI.Those interested, may please register at:

by 31st March 2021. Those who register, will be sent the guidelines separately over email by the event organising team.

Inspired by the yellow ribbons honoring American soldiers serving in the Gulf war, the artists chose to create a red ribbon to symbolize support and solidarity for people living with HIV and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses.

The red ribbon symbolizes resilience , strength and solidarity which are the essence of the fight against HIV.
The public health students give the red ribbon a unique take and usher in the movement to spread awareness around the stigmas that isolate and distress HIV survivors., with the message we are beyond our differences in this fight to curb the HIV epidemic globally,
