Atal Tinkering Lab at Manav Rachna International Schools

On 2nd Nov 2019 ATL Expo was organized at MRIS-46 Gurgaon . It featured a great mixed of 70 innovating projects based on recent technologies. 160 Participants graced the exhibition with their high level of enthusiasm and excitement. 500+ parents and teachers visited the Expo and voted for the best projects. The winning teams got certificates and badges.

At the - It was a good initiative taken by Niti Aayog. Newer ways of learning and collaborating with many new softwares & sensors .

Manav Rachna Internataional School, Sector 46, Gurgaon organised the Tinkering Fest in its Atal Tinkering Lab in the school premises on 25th & 26th July 2019. It was conducted in two phases, wherein the students explored various ideas at home and got an opportunity to become an entrepreneur. The second phase saw the students attending a workshop on Rocketry and innovating new ideas.

On day two, the teams got challenges based on the previous day’s workshop. Seven teams participated in the challenges.

LEGO

We are proud to announce that a team of students from Atal Tinkering Labs, "The Renaissance", of Manav Rachna International School, Sector 46 Gurugram has qualified to represent India at the international level in Carlsbad, California for the FIRST LEGO League Competition from 17 to 19 May 2019.
Prior to this, the team has cleared the national level of First Lego League. This year's national level competition’s theme was space. It was divided into three parts: Robot Game, Project and Core Values. “The Renaissance” completed their Robo run with an outstanding score and found a solution to a social problem faced by astronauts, that is isolation. They made a hand glove which gave astronaut's a sensational feel along with visual and verbal communication.
We wish Mentors Hardik & Devi and their team luck and lots of blessings for a great journey on their path to victory. They are an epitome for and when it is mixed with creativity and hard work, can help you accomplish great endeavors.

NITI Aayog ATAL Innovation Mission

MRIS 46 celebrated the ATL Community Day in the school Premises on 18th April 2019. Students of Grades VI-XI from various schools in the neighborhood were invited to join in the celebrations. Workshops planned for the day aimed to foster creativity in the next generation of creators and curators. This provided students a platform to tinker, collaborate and showcase their skills. The sessions were divided into 3D printing, hands-on training and exhibition. Parents were also invited to join and witness their wards' capabilities. They encouraged and supported the students with their presence in the exhibition.

With the thought that “Knowledge Spread is Knowledge Learnt”, MANAV RACHNA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Sector-14, Faridabad celebrated the in the persevant memory of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar (The Legend Of India),whose birth anniversary was around the corner. His kind deeds and belief of extending help to others as well motivated us to celebrate a festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, where the generation of from Class VI – Class X participated. Extending our resources to students from nearby Non-ATL schools, NGOs, social welfare organizations and local community participated vigorously. Nearly 150 students and parents from Scholar's Pride Sec-16, Faridabad and Waso Public School Sec-17, Faridabad were involved.
The inaugural speech by The Vice Principal, Dr. Shalini Bindra, ignited the students’ mind to bring about and creative ideas for the future.
The participants were enchanted by short workshop in the labs during the event as they were further exposed to thought-provoking ideas to change the nation.
Students happiness knew no bound as they went were hands-on trained via activity on soldering and simple circuits. Then, the parents and students were briefed about how Atal Tinkering Labs can help children develop themselves while serving the nation.
As intended, a single-day training program provided the participants a golden opportunity of a platform to tinker, collaborate and showcase their skills.
As the event drew the conclusion, Non-ATL schools and community students were well exposed to the various 21st-century skills and resources available in the Atal Tinkering Labs.

Representing great teamwork students of Manav Rachna International School - Sector 21 C, Faridabad broke grounds at Innoskill 2K19. Procuring 1st position in "Robo Race" 6th grader Aniket and Vedant and 7th grader Manya and Vashist proved that nothing could stand against sheer efforts and motivation. The challenge was to develop a mechanical car which can successfully pass through a given track installed with various obstacles. Confronting all these challenges from support from our mentor Mr. Vickey, these budding engineers left everyone with praises only.

Innoskill 2K19 witnessed a massive win of MRIS-46 students at the . Snehal, Sweety, Prerit and Sarisha became the winners while Rishika, Keshav, Aarush and Riya became the runner ups. By maintaining flight for a maximum time span of the developed model both the teams secured 70% more marks than the other participants. This achievement is proof of what young talent is capable of achieving with their skills and hard work.
