School of Art and Architecture, Sushant University is organizing a Masters Stroke on 29th July 2022 for architecture students. There will be a special lecture by experts.
Master Strokes at Sushant aims to unpack the different logic and rationales behind innovative discourses and proposals and understand the Approaches: Sensorial, Adaptive, Experiential & Ecological by which imaginaries of urban futures are currently being constructed, along with their socio-cultural and political implications for future cities.

Built heritage is considered an epitome of culture for times immemorial. With technological advancement, the building designs become obsolete and need rejuvenation in terms of its use, looks and feel in order to cope up with changing times. The course entails varied perspectives of ranging built heritage and what makes them still relevant in present times of different eras. Scrutiny of various cases wherein built heritage was subjected to modifications over time as per need or taste basis will be used to establish certain connotations for making built heritage relevant in time.

Master Stokes at Sushant aims to unpack the different logic and rationales behind innovative discourses and proposals and understand the Approaches: Sensorial, Adaptive, Experiential & Ecological by which imaginaries of urban futures are currently being constructed, along with their socio-cultural and political implications for future cities.

This course aims to open new ways of sensing one’s existing reality through embodied actions and play. Architects will be challenged to simply be occupiers of space rather than don the hat of makers or interveners. They will be exposed to alternative ways of exploring their cities and gain a phenomenological understanding of their domestic and urban surroundings.
