The Department of Optometry and Vision Science ,Amity Medical School Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Silverline Laboratories India, establishing a strategic partnership for research, training, and clinical excellence. This collaboration ensures long-term opportunities for AUH students to get an opportunity for specialised contact lens certification and joint research, significantly boosting the clinical competency and professional networking of AUH graduates . Silverline laboratories team Lead by Mr.Gagan Sahani conducted specialised workshop on Scleral Contact Lenses and Orthokeratology was also conducted. students participated in hands-on sessions covering patient selection, fitting philosophies, and myopia management, providing them with advanced skills beyond the scope of standard primary care.

The Department of Optometry and Vision Science at Amity Medical School, Amity University Haryana, recently hosted a successful institutional webinar titled "Prism Power: Navigating Complex Binocular Anomalies in Clinical Practice" on April 17th, 2026. Organized in collaboration with the Optometrists Society, the session featured Dr. Namratha, Lead Institutional Research & Faculty at the Sankara Academy of Vision, who provided expert insights into the sophisticated application of prisms for managing intricate binocular vision disorders. Throughout the lecture and interactive Q&A, participants explored the transition from theoretical principles to advanced clinical applications, such as treating diplopia and integrating prism therapy with vision therapy protocols.

Happy to share that Amity Medical School, Dean Student Welfare in collaboration with Red Cross Society conducted a workshop on First Aid Training on 17th March. An inspiring session was hosted by Amity Business School, Amity University Gurugram in celebration of International Women’s Day, featuring Dr Shibal Bhartiya - Ophthalmologist, Social Entrepreneur, Author, Editor and Co-Founder, Ufinity Life.
During her special address titled “My Journey of Vision, Grit & Grace,” Dr. Bhartiya shared powerful reflections from her personal and professional journey.
