Rit Rural Foundation is delighted to launch पुनर्नवा, a flagship initiative wherein the retired professionals will have the opportunity to disseminate their life-long skills to the young students.

The idea to bridge the knowledge divide, the generation gap and provide state-of-the art learning experience to the school students. Further, the initiative has been uniquely designed to address the issue of lack of quality teachers and enhance the productivity of professionals post retirement.

The International Cooperative Day is an annual celebration of cooperative movement across the globe. Cooperatives have the ability to transform the developmental journey of India through accelerating growth while creating jobs. Rit firmly believes in the spirit of collective community development through collective wealth generation.

Speaking at Management Development Institute, Gugurum, Shri Anurag Trivedi, Founder, Rit Rural Foundation, focused on achieving net zero and SDG agenda to help India lead the world, emphasised on connecting foreign policy with domestic policy by making villages fulcrum of India’s climate action.

Implementing and localising SDGs in an integrated manner through our “Punarnava” initiative.

The persistent degradation of land ecosystem has been affecting millions of people throughout the world. The United Nations states that at least 100 million hectares of healthy land is lost every year to desertification. About 40% of the global population is negatively affected by the phenomenon.

On the occasion of World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, Rit has coordinated its efforts to restore degraded land through the means of agroforestry and forest development. It aims to empower farmers as the front foot soldiers towards combating desertification and droughts.

Rit is pleased to announce the inauguration of its first function SDG Facilitation Centre. It is a holistic learning centre integrating the aspirations, hopes and skills of the rural community.

The state of the art has been created to provide universal access to quality education, ensure socio-economic empowerment of women and double the income of farmers. These Centres with act as a bridge between aspirations of rural India and the Sustainable Development Goals.

We are delighted to announce the first session of masterclass titled “Starting a Business using E-commerce and Social Media Platforms” as part of Employee Engagement Partnership between Rit Rural Foundation and .

The first session will be undertaken to familiarise rural women with e-commerce platforms as first step towards digital marketing.

Under the Employee Engagement Initiative, Ramboll will provide its expertise in training women SHGs of the Community Resource Centres developed by Rit.
