Divine Grace, Unstoppable Energy – A Performance to Remember!
Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram is delighted to share that the school has been bestowed with the “Most Energetic Performance” Award at the 2nd Festival of Choreographies, organised by The Arts & Aesthetics Foundation (TAAF) at the prestigious Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.
Our learners presented a powerful mythological dance portraying the divine battle of Devi Durga and the Mahishasur Vadh, bringing alive the timeless triumph of good over evil through captivating choreography, powerful expressions and extraordinary energy.
30 schools from across Delhi/ NCR participated. The festival celebrated creativity, diversity & artistic spirit of the talented dancers.

Shlokas that Inspire, Voices that Shine
Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, takes immense pride in sharing that its learners from FS I to Grade VIII participated with great zeal and confidence in the 17th Bhagavad Gita Shlok Chanting Competition, organised by Chinmaya Mission. Their outstanding performance brought the Runners-Up Rolling Trophy, making it a moment of great pride and celebration. Twenty learners secured Merit medals along with the given positions:

Celebrates Cyber Jagrookta Diwas

At Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, the Cyber Security Club – Cyber@Lotusमित्र observes Cyber Jagrookta Diwas on the first Wednesday of every month, fostering safe, responsible and respectful digital practices among learners.
In July, the initiative focused on protecting personal information, recognising cyber risks and scams, reporting suspicious activities, and practising responsible online behaviour. Learners enthusiastically participated in quizzes, poster-making, story board and cyber safety pledges, strengthening their awareness and digital responsibility.
Through this monthly initiative, Cyber@Lotusमित्र continues to empower learners to become alert, responsible, and cyber-safe digital citizens.

Grade III Cuckoos
Voices of the Changing World
The roots of learning lie in the past, but its branches reach the future.
Charismatic learners of Grade III Cuckoos brought learning alive through a thoughtfully curated assembly on ‘Schools Then and Now’, where learners explored the journey from the Gurukul system to modern education. Presented through an engaging Sansad session, learners voiced perspectives, with one group representing Gurukul values and the other modern-day schooling. The assembly beautifully highlighted differences in learning methods, values, skills and challenges, while also proposing balanced future solutions. A lively quiz, expressive nukkad natak and vibrant dance performance added energy and depth to the presentation. Each segment reflected research, confidence and collaboration, making the assembly a meaningful blend of tradition and innovation.

‘India from the Eyes of My Grandparents’
Bridging generations through love and learning.
“From stories of yesterday to dreams of tomorrow, grandparents connect generations with love.”
Grandparents’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour by the learners of grade FS3, honouring the cherished bond between generations. The event began with a patriotic performance that filled hearts with pride. Through engaging tableaus, skits, and role-plays, learners showcased India’s journey and changing lifestyles, including communication, education, digital payments, food and play. Heart-warming conversations allowed grandparents and learners to share memories and experiences. They lovingly blessed the children and added their blessings to the Blessing Tree. The celebration was a joyful blend of love, learning, memories and togetherness, reflecting the timeless role of grandparents in children’s lives.

Understanding the True Spirit of Freedom
Grade IX Shivaliks and Vindhyas organised their class assembly on the theme ‘Understanding Freedom’ on 13th August, 2026. The assembly enabled learners to understand the true meaning of freedom and appreciate the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters in India’s struggle for independence.
Highlighting various events that ultimately led to India’s independence in 1947, the presentation took the audience through significant milestones of the freedom movement, beginning with the Revolt of 1857. Through engaging dialogues, impactful narration, patriotic songs and dance performances, the learners brought important moments from history to life. The assembly emphasised on responsibility, respect, equality and active participation in nation-building.
Director-Principal Ms. Anita Malhotra lauded students for their confidence, creativity and teamwork. She also shared her inspirational words and encouraged students to practise compassion, respect, justice and equality. The assembly ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.

Grade I Kingfishers, Magpies, and Nightingales unveiled nature's most captivating stories, inviting every listener to look beyond feathers and discover enduring lessons of wisdom, curiosity and harmony. Through thoughtful research, engaging storytelling, quizzes, Nukkad Nataks, music and dance, learners explored the remarkable world of birds while reflecting on the importance of clean water, thriving ecosystems and biodiversity. Each assembly seamlessly intertwined knowledge with values, nurturing empathy, environmental consciousness and a spirit of responsible citizenship. More than sharing facts, learners reminded us that the purpose of education is to inspire minds that appreciate nature and create a more sustainable tomorrow.

Class Assembly Grade III Parakeets, Peacocks and Hornbills
Voices of the Changing World
Yesterday inspires us, today shapes us and tomorrow awaits the ideas we dare to imagine.
Our zealous learners of Grade III brought the theme “Voices of the Changing World” alive through engaging assemblies on Homes, Transport and Communication-Then and Now. Through skits, Nukkad Nataks, research presentations, quizzes, soulful songs, expressive poems and vibrant dance performances, learners explored how changing needs, innovation and technology have shaped life. The presentations reflected their curiosity, creativity, confidence and collaborative spirit, encouraging the audience to value the past, understand the present and envision the future. The assembly journey was further enriched as the Grade III Hornbills presented ‘Communication: Then and Now’ in the gracious presence of the Director-Principal Ma’am, adding warmth and distinction to this meaningful celebration of learning. Together, these assemblies celebrated the spirit of experiential learning, reminding us that while the world continues to change, the values of curiosity, connection and responsible living remain timeless.
