2 years back while we were looking to hire for couple of roles for our organization, we conducted huge number of interviews. We realized the candidates who appeared for the interview could not fit into the role due to lack of skills and knowledge required. After humungous efforts, we decided to shortlist few best candidates for the role and give training to make them
ready for the role. We realized there are so many people looking for job but couldn’t find the right job for themselves. We started digging deep into the root cause and found the following reasons for it
1. Large number of potential students passing out every year and paucity of enough resources to make them industry ready
3. Technology life-cycle is shortening
4. Marketplace is becoming competitive, thereby constantly placing new demands
5. Employability, our education does not enable us to get employed
