The session was taken by Mr. Anil Arya, Founder of Navkalp Foundation and has been a part of the renewed newspaper 'Dainik Jagran'.

He is practicing journalism for the last nineteen years. He introduced students to the world of journalism and explained how they can take it up as a future profession.

Mr.Arya highlighted the key difference between creative writing and news writing. He encouraged students to write regularly if they feel inclined towards this field. The session was highly interactive and inspiring.

This program is part of the school’s Internship Program, where students learn about different professions. It helps them explore career options based on their interests and talents from an early age.

Planet Care Campaign Inspires Young Eco-Warriors
Following the visionary ideals towards environmental sensitivity of our respected Chairman, Dr. A. F. Pinto, the school organized a special ‘Planet Care Campaign’ to spread awareness about saving nature and nurturing a greener future. The event was graced by Mr. Anil Arya, Founder, and Mr. Sunil Arya, Co-founder of Navkalp Foundation, as the Guests of Honour.
The day commenced with a vibrant morning assembly wherein students presented a powerful street play on saving trees and water. To mark the significance of Ayushman Bharat Diwas, students of Grade IV also showcased an impactful skit highlighting the importance of health and well-being.
Adding a meaningful touch to the campaign, Mr. Anil Arya and Mr. Sunil Arya installed bird nests and bird feeders in the school premises, explaining how these support birds by providing them safe shelter and food in urban spaces.
Students of Grade IV further contributed to the green initiative by planting flowering seeds in and around the school campus, while Grade III students distributed flower and vegetable seeds in the neighbourhood to encourage community participation in environmental conservation.
Thereafter, students of Classes III and IV took out an awareness rally in Sector-40 along with Mr. Anil Arya. Holding placards and chanting slogans like “Save Earth, Save Life”, they motivated residents to adopt eco-friendly practices and care for the planet.
School Head, Ms. Anju Dudeja addressed the gathering and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the guests from Navkalp Foundation for their inspiring presence. She encouraged students to actively contribute towards protecting nature, conserving resources, safeguarding birds, and promoting nesting in our surroundings.
The programme left everyone inspired to become responsible caretakers of Mother Earth.

Micro-Teaching: Parts of Speech

A micro-teaching session on ‘Parts of Speech’ was conducted.
The teacher began with an activity, calling one teacher to name different parts of the body. She then correlated it with grammar, explaining that just as our body has different parts with names, every sentence has different parts with names too.

She then explained all parts of speech one by one with examples. For recapitulation, teachers came forward, picked word cards, and identified the correct part of speech. The activity made learning fun and helped understand the concept clearly through active participation.
