Myra started her musical journey under the mentorship of Atreyee mam in 2019.
She holds her guru in the highest esteem and looks forward to her loving guidance.
I’m extremely grateful to Atreyee ma’am for bringing the knowledge and experience of ‘Sur’ in the lives of my daughters - Vedika & Aradhya.
In 2018 when we started learning from her they were 7yrs & 5yrs respectively and my only intent was to enlighten their love and interest in music, for them to experience the goosebumps when one sings the right chord or touches the right notes, for them to make their own relationship with music and realise the happiness it brings to them.
It was not a clear or an easy ask from a music teacher to such young minds but I must say with her love and endearment she totally won the girls over and slowly walked them thru the path of voice training. Her teaching ways were most enjoyable and filled with fun and before they knew it, they were singing full ragas.
I would for ever be indebted to Ma’am for this gift of music that she has given my girls which would stay with them for the rest of their lives !
