Krishna Janamashtami also known as krishnashtami is a festival commemorating the birth of lord Krishna.

Janamashtmi festival was celebrated today in Mignon Tigerz school with great joy . The premises was beautifully decorated with flowers to welcome our little Krishna and Radha.
Children lighted up the stage with their Dance performance and fancy dress competition where the girls were decked up as Radha and boys as Shri Krishna.

Aarti and bhajan were recited while the Puja was performed by the Mignon family along with Mignonians. Prasad was also distributed amongs the children post Puja.
Teachers performed an enactment on Nandgopala childhood pranks , his mischief were so very well depicted and children thoroughly enjoyed.

Mignonians made and decorated beautiful handmade Matki and flutes . Everyone gathered all their might to break Dahi Handi which was the highlight of the celebration.

To conclude with a lively atmosphere the day was enjoyed by the Mignonians .

Rakshabandhan celebration

Rakshabandhan is one of the most endearing way to celebrate bond between brother and sister. Our Mignonians celebrated Rakhi with great fervor and zeal.

To strengthen this bond ' Rakhi making activity ' was done in class depicting their love and feeling for their near and dear ones .. Girls tied Rakhi to boys and shared chocolate and sweets. We beleive that festivals are an integral part of Indian culture and therefore Teachers shared mythologyical stories of the festival and spoke on its significance and it's value by narrating them in school.

The Day was surely very enjoyable and memorable one for the Mignonians.

2018, Independence Day Celebration Tigerz

Today is Independence Day; say it loud, it’s my country’s proud...
Independence day, 2018 is celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride. The campus was all decked up with Tricolour decorations.
The celebration commenced the moment children started arriving in the morning, they made the Tricolour wreath with the cut and paste activity of tricolour flowers. The day in school started with the special assembly followed by fancy dress competition, Mignonians dressed up as per the occasion, walked the ramp with full confidence and spoke few lines about the characters they portrayed.
Then the children had a craft activity session and made beautiful Tricolour spin wheel, sang patriotic songs, rhymes and relished the lunch served, prepared with the theme of tricolour. At 12:00 parents were invited to join us for flag hoisting ceremony.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation Mrs. Reena Kapoor, our Director unfurled the Tricolour in presence of students, parents and staff, all in union sand the National Anthem and other patriotic songs to express the joy of our freedom.
All in all it was a day of joy and happiness, a day to express our gratitude to our freedom fighters and our love and respect for our country.
Mignon Tigerz team feel the pride of being the part of such a glorious nation. Here’s sending our warm patriotic wishes to make day truly memorable. Wish all Indians “Happy Independence Day.”

Friendship is a occasion that calls for celebrating the presence of friends in our life.

Mignonians enjoyed making friendship bands which was then tied to each other and displayed in class. The Friendship activities are important for strong social growth. The teachers talked about the importance of having good friends and treating them with respect by narrating a story.

Mishika and Kiaansh did wonderful on the Handkerchief to make the day memorable!! Kids learnt about through which also lead to their ...They also listened to rainy season rhymes and number songs during Class in Computer Room..
