Bemisaal GuruDutt: Zindagi, Cinema Aur Khwaab an 1 hour 45-minute theatrical journey into the life, artistry, and inner world of one of Indian cinema’s most enigmatic visionaries. Blending biographical storytelling with evocative stagecraft, the play traces Guru Dutt’s rise from a dreamer to a master filmmaker, while uncovering the emotional turbulence that shaped his work and ultimately consumed him.
What sets the play apart is its immersive design. Using a striking interplay of lights and shadows, music, dance, and dramatic performance, it attempts to recreate the visual and emotional grammar of Guru Dutt’s cinema on stage.
Researched and written by Shamir and Jaishree, the script balances authenticity with artistic interpretation. Under Shamir’s design and direction, the production transforms into a sensory homage that captures not just the man, but his essence—his “khwaab” (dreams), his contradictions, and his legacy.
This play is a tribute to the golden era of Indian cinema, created for anyone who loves films, dreams, and powerful human stories. It offers a rich mix of emotions—tears, silence, and light moments of joy—leaving the audience deeply moved.

Search Years and it's inhouse drama repertory Gurgaon (Gurugram) Theatre Group present a bouquet of 3 stories from Manto's Comedies in Hindustani.
The era of 1940s when comedy was more situational, of errors and healthy promoting mutual respect (सद्भाव) unlike what we experience today. Manto wd often say " कॉमेडी तो मैं सिर्फ रुपयों के लिया लिखता हूं। अपने लिए तो मैं ज़माने के रंज-ओ-ग़म ही लिखता हूं। मैं समाज को आईना दिखाता हूं"। मंटो के इस हस्सास और गहन पहलू से तो हम सब वाक़िफ हैं ।

तो आइए, मिलते हैं मंटो के उस अलमस्त, मज़ाकिये मिजाज़ से, इन तीन नायाब कहानियों के गुलदस्ते के ज़रिए - "इंतज़ार, इंतज़ार का दूसरा रुख़ और ख़ुदखुशी"!
