Dear ICF Coaches,
If your Badge in ICF profile suddenly looks… different —
it’s not a glitch!
It’s a signal.

International Coaching Federation just rolled out its new global brand identity.
And this time, it’s not about looking prettier.
It’s about standing taller as a profession.
No loud announcement.
No drumroll.

Just a subtle shift that says:
📌Coaching is no longer a side skill
📌Coaching is no longer “soft”
📌Coaching is a human advantage in a disrupted world

🟢What changed?
• The language got clearer (less jargon, more courage)
• The visuals got warmer (less corporate, more human). As a designer, I love it!
• The positioning got sharper (mindset > method)
• The promise got bolder: Inspire. Transform. Thrive.

And quietly…
If you’re an ICF coach,
your badge,
your look,
your digital presence
has been upgraded.

Magdalena Nowicka MookSteven A. Weiss - ICF Nararat Pac VachiramanapornHaitham Shaheen. Thank you for creating it for us!

🟢So here’s a gentle nudge, dear friend.
-✔︎Go check your ICF Coach profile.
-✔︎See what the new badge says about you. Update your LinkedIn in that tone.
-✔︎Ask yourself: Does my bio, my voice, my posts match this level of clarity?
📣Announce it: Let your Clients gentle know about the transformation.

Because branding is not decoration.
It’s a declaration.
And this one declares:
Coaching has grown up.
Have you?

To grow together....

Branding 2026

23/01/2026

A young brain isn’t about age.
It’s about motion.

Brains don’t age from years.
They age from repetition.

Same thinking.
Same expertise.
Same loops.

Learning interrupts rust.
New hobbies create friction.
Friction keeps the brain young.

• Familiar = comfort
• New = renewal

This weekend—
Try one thing you’ve never done before.
Not to master it.
Just to stretch.

Learn
Don’t rust.

Are you carrying a private war inside you
…..as you walk into your office?
While the world sees only your smile!

People work.
People win.
People succeed.
People smile at the world.

But inside themselves…
they can carry a private war no one sees.

Promotions can’t end this war.
Prizes can’t end this war.

The only way it ends
is when you choose to end it.

How do I know?
I have carried the same!
And trust me - it harmed me more that anyone!
You get tired holding your fort -which none is attaching!
You play defensive -miss out on team game, playing big!

You lose out from being great-stay at being good!

This Monday, I invite you to exercise that choice.
Drop the private war!

Your capacity to carry is limited by
24 hours a day and one lifetime.

Those who truly reach the top
carry something rarer than ambition:
peace.

Remember —
you can only give what you have.

If you have ever experience above in self or others comment PRIVATE WAR and I will know that you choose the other!

And if are a leader carrying a private war, want to drop it?
Let’s talk.DM me.

Wishing you a winning, lighter week ahead.

“I don’t know where the weekend went, Deb.”
Sounds familiar?
I call this the “too busy to grow” syndrome in leaders.

♨️The business of busyness always comes with a cost.

When nurturing time and replenishing time are skipped,
we quietly erode the foundation of long-term leadership.

The truth is simple:
the weekend didn’t rest us
it just slipped by.

Sunday was never meant to be a buffer.
It was meant to be a pause.

Life has sped up.
Human needs haven’t.

It happens to me as well.

So I’m experimenting with something small, but deliberate.
Simple weekend rituals that pull me out of busyness
and back into growth — for myself and my inner circle.

🌿Ritual #1
I revisit my travel photos.
Not to post — just to remember, thank, and reconnect.
I share a few with the people who were there and say,
“Thank you for creating this memory with me.”

Investing this weekend in creating my inner circle.

Like the idea? Got your own idea?
Share in the comment!

Help others build more rituals that make them go back to work happy & refreshed!

Some Saturdays are for rest.
Some are for reflection.
Because Monday will arrive — prepared or not.

I wish this were a light weekend post.
But then I read about the renewed US–Greenland tensions in the news, and my mind went back to a piece of fiction I watched last year — (Power & Glory) 2025 on .

🟢Why am I sharing Borgen on a Saturday morning?

Because Borgen may be fiction.
But the leadership tensions it portrays are very real.

As the first woman President of the The ICF Delhi NCR Chapter , I found myself closely following the journey of Birgitte Nyborg — the first woman Prime Minister of Denmark in the series.

Not because our roles are the same.
But because the weight of firsts often is.

The quiet scrutiny.
The invisible expectations.

🟢5 leadership lessons teaches us:

1. rarely enters loudly
It arrives with opportunity decks, not ultimatums.
: Read intent, not language.

2.Clarity, is survival,when you’re the smaller player,
If you don’t define your position early, someone else will.
Leadership_lesson:Ambiguity is an open invitation.

3. Ethics are easiest before money shows up
Once scale enters, values are tested — publicly and privately.
Leadership_lesson: Growth without values isn’t strategy. It’s drift.

4. Media isn’t the messenger. It’s the arena
Narratives move outcomes faster than policy ever will.
Leadership_lesson: Silence is also a story.

5. Leadership always charges a personal price
Behind every composed decision is invisible emotional load.
Leadership_lesson: Leadership isn’t authority. It’s load-bearing.

If you’re still reading this far…
watch the series.

🟢Some leaders switch off on weekends.
Others smartly prepare for what’s coming.

I work with the second kind.

🥎DM me to book a 15-minute Clarity Call.

Confession of a Coach.

After long coaching days, my mind would feel full.
So I reached for distraction — Netflix docuseries, “just one episode.”

You know the drill.
One becomes three.
Sleep gets postponed.
Tomorrow pays the price.

On my Gallup CliftonStrengths 34:
• No. 1 strength → Intellection
• Discipline → No. 15

But I am disciplined in many other areas — hence it wasn’t a discipline problem.

Then?

In self-coaching mode sitting with my Gallup 34 Strenghts assesment.
I had a eureka moment!

I was asking myself the wrong question!
Not leveraging my Top natural Strenght - Intellection ( No.1) but focussing on less accessed Strenght - Discipline(No.15)

So I reframed my question.

I stopped asking:
❌ How do I build habits when my Discipline is low?

I started asking:
✅ How do I build habits that feed my thinking?

I don’t need a stricter system.
I need a mentally satisfying ritual.

So on Day 8 of the year, I designed one.

Last night looked like this:
• Quiet reading
• One book
• No rush

Result?
✔ Finished the book
✔ Slept on time

No guilt.
No willpower war.
Just a habit that respects how my mind works.

So friends….this is my open habit-change experiment.
I am sharing with you as Connectedness in my No.2 and I will be consistent with this declaration with you.

While I do it
I am happy to help you as well.

This year, it wasn’t a birth-day
It was a collection of rebirth-moments.

In the committed listening of those who know me for decades, know me through my highs & lows, who trust me,
I rediscovered myself.

Sometimes the best gift one can get is
moments of honest listening of loved ones.

Chatterbox chakraborty is deeply grateful to have it. 🙏

On this birthday I have realised,
If life counted years, I’d be done.
But since it counts depth , I’m just getting started.

The older I get,
I have enough numbers to pause.
Enough questions to keep walking.

I wish,
Let my life be a song that time hums back.
Thank you friends for hearing the rhythm beneath the words.
For every gentle echo along the way!

With deep gratitude.

While moving towards 2026, my pen surprised me.

It didn’t ask for a plan.
It asked for a pause—
not to run faster, but to grow wiser.

I asked, what will be the indicator of being balanced?

The answer that emerged was
🌿SUSTAINABLE GROWTH
progress that grows everything without breaking anything.

What does sustainable growth look like?

Building a career like a forest, not a firework—
skills that compound, values that anchor, relationships that outlive titles.

Scaling systems, not exhaustion.
In 2026, purpose becomes the operating system and profit the outcome.

Treating energy as leadership infrastructure.
Pausing to respond, not react.

Wealth that creates resilience and choice—
where money becomes a tool, not a master.

🌿The thought I’m carrying into 2026:
Sustainability is choosing what you can carry with grace for decades,
not what you can chase aggressively for a season.

Choose beautiful growth in 2026.
Be Busy & Blessed.

Someone asked me the other day, “How are you doing?”
And my reply… turned a little filmy.
“Karan Johar–style… kabhi khushi, kabhi ‘Ghum’.”

Because honestly?
My health this year has had more plot twists than a Bollywood family drama.

A surgery right before the festivals.
Now a minor accident this Monday.
With a severe back spasm.

Doctor’s verdict: Complete bed rest for a few days.

For someone whose mind runs marathons, … being told to lie still feels like a punishment crafted by the universe’s scriptwriter.

But there is a learning hidden in every event
Even on bed rest, I’m learning about health at 40’s, peri-menopause food & lifestyle habits.
( Sharing few links in the comments which all women at 35,40,s should watch )

Turns out the body can pause…
but curiosity refuses to sit still.

So for 2026, I’ve decided:
No more Karan Johar style in my health story.
I’m aiming for long-run consistency.

Less drama, more stamina.

If life insists on being a film…
at least let it be one where the hero’s health doesn’t take an interval every few months.

What do you think?

Confession time.

Do I love posting every day?
Honestly… no.

Some mornings I feel lazy.
Some days I feel I have nothing worth saying.

But last week here’s the truth I’ve realised:

I don’t like writing for personal branding ( DOING )🔺
I love writing as a self-awareness practice ( BEING )💚

I write in what I call my Tagore mode —
right after my morning prayer,
after my daughter leaves for school,
when a thought arrives like a quiet visitor.

Tagore’s huge body of work was born from this exact practice.
There was no LinkedIn — just a daily discipline of observing life.
And even today, whether you’re sad, hopeful, lost, or in love,
open any page of his writing and you’ll find yourself reflected there.

He wrote on the seasons of nature, life, the spectrum of emotion,
the depths of human relationships —
And each creation from his desk is transformative, timeless, classic.

That inspires me.💚

And every time I don’t write,
I don’t just skip a post —
I skip a moment of knowing myself.

That is the real opportunity lost.

That's my “Why “ on writing on LinkedIn?
What's yours?

Curious to know.
