Zimriya . The Music Fest

Zimriya –our music fest –a dance and music pagenant saw many a moments of exhilaration. There was an uproar of applaud every now and then. The guests of the day seemed to be overwhelmed by the spectacular show of rhythm and passion in all performances. The ambience of the institution was an expression of creativity galore-both fine arts and performing arts.
The exhibition of musical instruments made by the learners of our institution , their presentations after days of research work and the perfect way the students explained the displays was immensely admired by the visitors.
The programme was initiated with the lighting of the lamp.The audience watched mesmerised the ongoing medley of performances on the stage. The first time playing drummers, the sufi rendrence and the quawalli. particularly enthralled the parents. The guests were not be left behind . They joined in the spirit of the day- music all around, by participating in a promptu Antakshri slated out for them.They also sang along with the singers performing on the stage.
The Zimirya – a kaleidoscope of varied dance and music forms was indeed a run away success. It will sure will be remembered by all, for years to come.

They say soulful music has the power to touch the heavens. Th skies opened to shower blessings on

each and every one present in the school. After all, the outstanding performances were the result of

days of hard work put in by each member of the MRIS-46 family ! Nothing could dampen the excitement

and the ongoing musical spirit of our students who were all geared up to enthrall the guests on the 2nd

day of Zimriya – The music fest.

The enthusiasm of the event continued, be it the exhibits, the green room animated discussions, the last

minute instructions to the performers. Every one surely aspired to enthrall the audience with a

memorable music and dance show.

(1) Zimriya 2014- our very trust musical extravaganza started with a lot of vigor, energy and enthusiasm. The parents were thrilled to see the works of their wards in the school amphitheater to enjoy a meaningful of melodious music's they seemed to be mesmerized by the on goings.

The program started with the lighting of the lamp. The principal along with the grand parents did the honor.

What followed was the treat for the ears our school band enthralled. the audience with their singing.

(2) Keeping with tradition of the MRIS to think out of the box the students surprised everyone by creating melodious music out of funk. Children proved that they are the citizen of a global world when they performed dances of various countries.

We were privileged to have Mr. Sudeep Chatterjee and Mr. Jagannath Rao with us. Who mesmerized the audience with their flute performance.

(3) The amazing rhythm initiated, was continued by the rendition of the famous qawali- "charta suraj".

The guests the dear parents found it difficult to remain just an audience they joined in celebration of music by playing antakshri and Zimriya is sure a kaleidoscope of diversity of dance and music forms.

MANAV RACHNA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL-46 has thrown its gates open for the parents and guests for the commencement of the music fest-Zumriya 2014.The air is charged with excitement, children in colorful fancy garments, in their dancing shoes, are performing to folk music. The onlookers stand enthralled by the act of their wards.

The sound of instrumental and vocal music of sorts of this performing art, can be heard from every nook and corner of the school. The Alma Meter is adorned with varied musical instruments, notes and charts with details of the history and usage of these instruments. The decor showcases the creative and technical inclination of the learner. The exhibits are all made by the children and they stand confidently in presenting the same to the guest.

Zimriya , The Music Fest : Day 5

The students and staff of Mris 46, Gurgaon, created an ambience of festivity in the school campus and brought

alive with vivid colours, thrown all across the school walls, the beautiful display of musical instruments

artistically made by talented and versatile students of the proud MRIS 46. The last day before the final fest,

students got down to rehearse their exuberant performances and filled the environment with magical melodies.

Zimriya , The Music Fest: Day 4

Day 4 of ‘ Zimriya’, the music Fest, was another fun filled day at MRIS 46, with music zooming all around the

campus. Students geared up to display their best talents and got down to rehearse, rendering their exhilarating

performances. Special assembly featured some stellar performances by the faculty members and the parents.

Making of flute and learning to play it, was an added attraction of the day.
