Hello. Our government is trying to remove India’s Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This will be made a law on June 30th. This means, industry can take up any land, pull down any forest, dam any river, start any project, dump anything, anywhere, anytime, without any oversight of Environmental law. Which means, we’re kaput!

EIA 2020 can wait, Please withdraw it, Environment Ministry The EIA notification is important for environmental protection, public health and workers safety. It is appalling that the Ministry has proposed to dilute the notification and seek public comments in the midst of the COVID 19 emergency.
